laptop hard drive and dvd drive ide connection

    i am building a project and before i buy a laptop dvd and hdd what converters do i need? i know i need one for the harddrive but can i use the same type of converter for the dvd drive?

    Definitely cant use the HD ones for the DVD drive. I know that much for sure.

    As to what adapter you need for the DVD drive, it would depend on the model and connector type.
