Is there such thing as a good laptop jacket, that sort of covers all the external surfaces, or at least the outer sides? If so, are any worth buying? If not, are there things that are worth purchasing that will increase the safety of a notebook?
There are laptop sleeves, is that what you're referring to? I wouldn't take my laptop anywhere without one on mine. It came with an Acer branded one and as well as that I also transport it in a Crumpler Sheep Scarer which is designed specifically for 12-15" notebooks and has a removeable inner sleeve.
