Hi, basically the title says it all...

I have an old DELL Latitude L400 laptop in perfect working order except it doesn't hold charge, needs the mains adapter in all the time... Anyway, i want to rip it's screen out and use it as a makeshift secondary on my main rig...

Failing that is there any semi-permanent way to embed it in a case or something so i can use it in a mod..?

Any and all help and info is appreciated

    Using the screen alone, no

Using the entire laptop (networked) via synergy, yes.

just tried that synergy thing, everytime i click on TEST to test the connection it says "Unknown Screen Name 'dave_pc'".... And it wont let me change it to anything, even if i enter dave_pc again it will say that "the screenname is not in the layout"

Looks like a POS to me...
