I found this link for anyone wanting to do there own clear case or have windows cut in aluminum.

    http://www.drgnfly4g.com/ram_files/laserIntro.htm

From their site: "Laser cutting cuts at 90 degrees to the surface. It does not have an angled cut. The kerf (the width of the cut) is .007" wide in thin material and slightly wider in thicker material. It is a clean cut; usually it does not need deburring, except on thick material. We can cut thin sheet steel (.010" spring steel or shim stock) up to 3/4" thick steel, up to 3/8" thick stainless steel, up to 1/8" thick aluminum, 1/16" thick brass or copper and even 1/4" polycarbonate, such as Lexan."

Looks like they source the material for you. All you have to do is design your dream case. I don't know if you could ship them the side of your case, but it's worth an email to find out.
