    Hi all,
I've finally decided on what parts to buy and just wanted to check that they will all fit and work with each other.

    CPU: i5 750
    MOBO: Gigabyte UD2
    Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper TX3
Case: Cheapo Novatech one - Case
    GPU: Powercolor HD 5850
    RAM:G-Skill Ripjaw 4GB 1600 C9
    Optical drive: SamsungSH-S223B
PSU: OCZ StealthXStream 2 500W - Will this be powerful enough or can someone recommend a better one at a similar price.
    HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3

    Cheers again
    Adam

Stretch the budget to an antec 300, the cooling is much better.

Seems like a good setup but i'd just make a few changes.

Get a decent case, your case makes a huge difference to your opinion on your pc so you might aswell splash out a little more:

Or you could get the antec 300 as Ethan said.

Change the cooler to something better, like the hyper 212 plus:

I'd also change the PSU to the Be Quite 530W, gets better reviews & seems more reliable:

That PSU is fine. I doubt your system would be breaking 300W.

Try to stretch to the Antec 300 and the Corsair CX450W.

Looks fine to me Adam (all parts compatible). [Assume OS will be Windows 7 64-bit].

Id change the case aswell, no point in having a high end system and people mistaking it for a cheap office pc

    Cheers for the help guys,
I'll upgrade to one of the coolermasters linked.
Does anyone know the best place to get Windows 7 from atm? The prices seem to go and and down abit atm.
Also does anyone know if the cpu cooler will interfere with the ram as there is a heat sink fitted to the sticks?
    Cheers
    Adam

That might be a problem. I have the H55M-UD2H (the H55 sibling of the UD2) which is also MATX. With the Titan Fenrir cooler the fan just interferes with the memory socket (thankfully my crucial RAM doesn't have any extra-height heatspreaders). I guess you could move the fan up a bit but this would most likely interfere with your cooling.

Which cooler are you getting? Because it really depends on the size of the cooler.

I was going to get the Coolermaster Hyper 212 that you linked, but I expect the second fan would interfere with the ram.

I think you'll be fine with the hyper 212 as it isn't very wide. Also having a 2nd fan wouldn't make a difference as you always have one fan facing the memory modules (I didn't think it came with 2 fans anyway?)
