Sleeping dogs was last game I played till the end Saints row 3 before that. Plenty of games I have on steam with 4-5hrs played
Just finished Assassin's Creed Revelations & The Lost Archive add-on. Now finally onto Assassin's Creed 3.
Far Cry 3, i didn't expect much after the horrible Far Cry 2 but i was in for a surprise, i really enjoyed it.
Just finished Rage + DLC again and had forgotten what a fun game this was. I am struggling with FarCry 3 just cannot get into it at all.
Just finished the first Borderlands. I think I have done all the missions. Not a bad game. It's absolutely massive. It lacked a little depth though and I sort of lost interest in the story some of the way through. I sort of ended up just doing the missions. Sometimes I would end at a mission point not knowing why I was there or what I was meant to do. Still, it was worth a play through.
The secret of monkey island. Its been a few years since the last time so i thought id give it a run through. Moving on to the 2nd one now
I adored Hotline Miami. Utterly mesmerizing and hypnotic. It is everything that Daily Fail readers hate in a video game and for that I applaud it.
It is (and I was one of the big "but MW3" shouters a few months back) substantially better than MW3's SP campaign. Sure, QTEs suck hard and the difficulty curve is erratic (on the xbox at least), but it is more enjoyable in SP. That said, there are also some really REALLY annoying bugs that had me replaying entire stages because the game just decided that suddenly the AI doesn't work anymore, or I can't go where I am supposed to. Haven't played either in MP, so wont comment there.
Finally finished Dishonored! Slightly disappointed to learn there aren't any real shades of ending, you either kill no-one or end up with high chaos but what a game. Definitely gonna replay soon. Spent over 20 hours on the first go, thats what games are supposed to do!
While I get the idea of the extreme violence in the game. Having it enacted by a blocky sprite relegates it to sort of road runner cartoon violence. Still I'm sure were the game popular outside of indie gamer circles it would cause someone to be outraged somewhere.
Finished Halo 4 with the GF yesterday. Was a good game, but the ending was very underwhelming. Spoiler You don't even get to battle main bad guy and end up "killing" him with cut screen & quick time event, was pretty pathetic. Which made the game end with a whimper rather than a bang, but overall enjoyed playing it.
Finally 'played' through Dear Esther the other day. Loved it! All my time is going into Hawken at the moment, I did start AC3 but that's on the growing pile-of-games-to-play now :/
