This is just a thread wondering if these parts fit/work well and do the best they can within my £700 strict budget. CPU Intel Core i5 2500, Socket 1155, Sandy Bridge, Quad Core, 3.3GHz, GPU 850Mhz, 6MB Cache, 95W, Retail MOBO Gigabyte GA-H67MA-UD2H-B3, Intel H67, S1155, PCI-E 2.0 (x16), DDR3 1333, SATA 6Gb/s, RAID, mATX, VGA RAM 4GB (2x2GB) Corsair XMS3 Classic, DDR3 PC3-10666 (1333) Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 9-9-9-24, 1.50V HDD 1TB Samsung HD103SJ Spinpoint F3, SATA 3Gb/s, 7200rpm, 32MB Cache, 8.9ms, NCQ Optical Drive Sony AD-5260S-0B 24x DVD±R, 12xDVD±DL, DVD+RW x8/-RWx6 SATA, Black, OEM Case Antec 100 One Hundred, Black Midi Tower Gaming Case w/o PSU PSU 530W Be Quiet BN106 Pure Power L7, 80 PLUS, SLI/CrossFire, 120mm Fan, Dual Rail, ATX12V v2.3 GPU 1GB XFX HD 5870, PCI-E 2.1 (x16), 4800MHz GDDR5, GPU 850MHz, 1600 Cores, DP, HDMI, 2 x DL DVI-I NOTE:I still need to find a suitable monitor, around 20"-22" costing around £120, nothing ridiculous like 140 or 150. All suggestions welcome. This computer will primarily be a gaming computer if that helps. What I also saw is that on a website, the fps between the i5 2400 and the i5 2500 were minimal, only 3 or 4fps at max and the i5 2400 costs 15 quid cheaper. Would I be stupid to get the i5 2500 instead of saving 15 quid and only losing a couple of fps? All comments on other parts in this system are welcome. If you recommend something better, please make sure it will be a suitable price. Thanks. Thanks for all comments.
