It is mentioned '19mm Momentary Vandal Resistant Switches' so it is a switch that can be used to power up a PC. Do not know why it is latching as you mentioned. Do you have a meter to measure continuity ?
If it is a momentary one, then it could be wired by pins + & - for the Power LED, pins 3 & 4 for the switch.

Well, if you click it on and off real fast, the pooter would read that as a slow momentary on. If you left it clicked on the system would probably power up, then switch back off.
-Damn sloppy not telling you it's not momentary. You can use it like I said above, or save it for a lighting switch.

    hey dude.
I basically did that. but you dont have to go super fast or anything the latch is pretty deep. you have to press it really deeply latch so all is fine really.
I know they're only like 15 quid or something but Ive gone a little over board on budget with my build so prolly just stick with this.

    'pooter' < lol :D

You can dissasemble it and remove latch mechanism. It is really easy-there is just one thin metal wire that needs to be removed.

Get them to send you a replacement. Either its faulty or its the wrong model. Either way you are entitled to get a replacement because its not as described.
