I don't really know to be honest... i got to the 'oh sod this' point while looking for which one I wanted and just went for the known quantity.

That's as good a reason as any - and probably the reason I just took delivery of an iPhone 5. Basically, I don't have the time or energy to look through all the other options, let alone learn to use any of them with the same dexterity as I can use iOS. You can say what you like about Apple's ethics and pricing, but for ease of use they're pretty much peerless...

Don't feel bad for buying Apple products. They do make great stuff. I don't use their desktops anymore, but I do have an iPhone and iPad and like them very much.

I would say Android is at least as easy to use as iOS. Windows 8 is the only one that needs learning.

    GET OUT! *points to door*

In all serious... -ness? though i bought the ipad basically expecting to feel the same way, i would recommend most of apples portable products even considering the price.

Got the iPad 2 and i would'nt recommend any tablet over it, baring in my mind parents (BOTH) have recently purchased new samsung galaxy tabs and having played with friends asus tablets and phone/tablets at similar price ranges i still consider the ipad ontop (hey im not bias!)

Might be getting an iPhone 4 from my sisters boyfriend soon, Assuming it all goes well he has offered it to me for free but im going to give him a reasonable sum of money as a (kinda family) exchange
