Sorry,no. It's just a generic 3U server case. This one, in fact -> linky
The only mods I've made are to reverse the central fan mountings to give more room for cabling, and to fit quieter fans (some old Sharkoon Silent Eagles I had lying around).
Next job is to install Ubuntu Server with ZFS & build the disc array.

Very nice, im fond of a bit of rc now and then, not too much 1/5th scale, more a fan of 1/8th nitro/brushless, buggys and truggys :)

The sales blurb has me sold:

Wow, congrats! I wish I still had my old Baja, but it wasn't getting used enough so I sold it and got into heli's and 1/10th electric instead. Now I'm considering selling the heli's and getting my first multi copter

I still need to put £450 of electronics into my Associated TC6.1. That might happen this year, might not.

Health to enjoy - make sure you keep us updated on any upgrades in the nitro thread :thumb:

Went with ZFS RAIDZ2 which takes 2 drives for parity, so my server formatted to 43.5TB for data. :D
    Now to fill it.

You will like them trust me. Took me a long time to leave Samsung screens but my little 23's suit me just fine. Try and get the arms for them makes life so much easier.

(replaced images with low resolution versions)

After having two tasting sessions over the weekend (there are two evenings availabler, after all ;)) I come to the following conclusion:

The RZ Centenario is indeed a very nice rum, yet I almost find it a little bit too far on the smokey side. Amazing colour, typical RZ taste, quite strong, "burns" when running down your throat, slightly less smooth than the standard 15yo RZ.

The Botucal (formerly Diplomatico) is one of (if not THE) nicest rum I have ever had the pleasure of trying. There are so many rums or whiskies telling you what you will be able to taste in a sip (vanilla, honey, oak, [random fruit], ...) but most of the time it is just a slight hint of the advertised taste you will actually find. Not with the Botucal Reserva Exclusiva!
Immediately after feeling the liquid touch your lips your nostrils and taste buds are bound to experience an amazing and remarkebly strong taste of honey. Extremely smooth and oh so sweet. If you then proceed to keep it in your mouth to fully experience the taste, the rum will essentially develop an almost cream-like feeling and will leave a mind-blowing aftertaste of honey with a hint of smoke behind.

I am, as you may have guessed by now, absolutely blown away by this rum and I will make sure I will never be without a bottle of it in the house as there simply is no better digestif I can think of at the moment. I simply cannot wait for the summer, when I will be able to enjoy this with a nice South American or Cuban cigar in the garden watching the sun go down.

Quality of life? That is it, no questions asked.

Picked up a Pelican S100 sport elite laptop backpack a couple of weeks ago and it's a fantastic piece of kit for carting a macbook pro and an ipad about without worrying about them getting damaged.

It also makes dragging them out at airport security far less hassle, I can't recommend it highly enough if you're after a new laptop rucksack.

£35 on some new balance 790 V2's from sports direct to allow me to get off the bike in the gym and onto the treadmill/crosstrainer/rowing machine - the merrell intercept gtx's I was wearing aren't the right type of trainer for the gym really .......
