10-pack of 125 grain field points. Getting used to hunting weight arrows for this season, and working up toward next year's alligator hunt. Arrows for it might be three times as heavy, so I need to start now on getting accurate with anything passed to me. I dunno if I'll use their arrows or bring my own. I think I'll have to make/bring my own for my draw length.

    - Two tickets to see NIN at Scala later in the month. Only a small gig, so pretty happy with that.

    - A few bits at the local Chill festival

    - 3 bottles of fluid and two spare atomiser / tanks for my e-cig

I'm glad I wasn't the only one to notice that. For a brief moment there I was in a state of shock/head explosion, trying to figure out what exactly was wrong with what I just saw and staring blankly at the screen wide eyed, mouth agape, wildly trying to take in or make sense of this madness... It only lasted for a second, but there was so much "WTF" going through my head at that moment, I thought there might actually be something wrong with me. Then I unwittingly scrolled down and read your comment, and it all made sense. It also made me a sad panda. I am such a sad panda right now. Why don't massive companies like Filo have people who proof read advertisements? I really need to know. Why? D:

To be fair a) they are a Chinese company so it's actually not that bad for an Engrish translation and b) I just pulled the image from Google images so there's a high chance it may just be an ad created by an online retailer.

Agreed. Their translation may occasionally be sloppy, but both of my Fiio's have sounded and played tremendously well. :D

Outsourcing proofreaders would be ironically, more expensive and inefficient. ;)

I can take the occasional abysmally translated product manual, they're always good for a laugh, but on a big flashy advertisement like that? I mean, it has cool reflections and everything?! But it's ruined for anyone in the world who can speak decent English because of one missing word. Meh, I think it makes Filo (even if it's not an original Filo ad) look pretty stupid to be honest  Expensive and inefficient vs the entire English speaking world (or at the very least the grammar nazis among them) thinking you're pretty dumb. Hmm...

All joking and depressingly bad English aside, that looks like a very nice player! I have a huge FLAC library. This is relevant to my interests :)

    Screen grab from Fiio's site....

They do say on a lower slide "Five main lossless music formats" so it isn't all bad

Ordered a sofa for the cinema-room-to-be in the new house...

    http://www.fama.es/products/sofas-and-modulars/arianne-en-4-73.html

Similar colour scheme to the one pictured (there was an obscene number of swatches to run through, spent ages sitting in the shop with the sales guy going through them debating colour combinations and then ended up with something quite similar to the one in the showroom...).

    - Solid turquoise corner unit
    - Solid grey corner unit
    - Turquoise, grey, pistachio striped chair unit
    - Pistachio patterned chair unit
    - Solid pistachio flat unit
    - Turquoise patterned (different pattern) flat unit

It looks better than it sounds, honest...

Went for something a bit bright and colourful on account of the sofa being the only piece of furniture of note in the entire room, other than a TV and some speakers, grey walls etc.

Two corner units, two chair units and two footstools arranged like...

The left for when lots of people need to sit (8-10), or the right when its just a few close friends (or just me and the mrs, or just me for that matter). It's pretty huge (10ft across the back), but shouldn't overwhelm the room too much... hopefully! Comfortable in epic proportions too.

    10-14 week wait though.

Went shopping at Clark's Village today to get some stuff for my impending flat purchase (with an exchange date a mere few days away now):

    • A load of Viners cooking utensils,
    • A Tefal frying pan for an egg, along with a griddle pan for MAH SOOORSAGGEEEES!
    • Tefal iron, because apparently I need well ironed clothes
    • These:

And finally something less house related:

Some Merrel Barefoot Road Glove 2 shoes, these (but in red):

    And finally this:

Corsair Survivor. This is much larger than I expected.

But I've been spoiled by my beautiful collection of HP V210W USB sticks.. They're just so small and pretty..

Ooh, nice! I could spend many an hour in a cinema room on an amazing sofa like that! Have you any idea which way you're going projector & speaker wise yet?

    For me;

    - Two 3/8x19 BSP(F) taps, one tapered, one bottoming.
    - Two 1/2x14 BSP(F) taps, same two types.

    One tap wrench :dremel:
