Not quite. I still shower every morning and don't revolt against the technology while smoking weed (unlike your past self Shirty ;)) and all the other typical hippie stuff. :D

Ah well, they make my room smell nice.

I'll be sure to keep them away from your HHKB though. :p

Picked it up for a diorama. I'm gonna be stuck sitting or lying down for a while now, so I figured I should be somewhat productive.

    Fixed now.

Looks interesting Kayin, what's the actual size like?

My purchases of late have been a couple of tanks of fuel, and one of these:

Reading Ben Rich's "Skunkworks" piqued my modelling interest once again. Now I just need to find a 1/48th scale SR-71 and I'm sorted. :D

Winter's coming and college seems to want me to indulge in my hobbies, this means anime and more model making is on the cards. This could get expensive.

i gave up model making in uni, but my anime habit started in earnest as the uni society used a lecture theatre to show episodes once a week, there'd be 4 or 5 series on the go at any one time. It was all FMA (original), samurai champloo and Guu when i started attending regularly, makes me nostalgic just thinking about it.

My Amex has just melted into a smouldering heap...

    GRRRR... Makita LS1040 Mitre Saw

Slightly less grr, but a good staple tool I'm sick of making do without

Not grr at all, but quite necessary as the house I'm moving in to on Thursday hasn't got one, a Bosch something or other washing machine

And absolutely GRR, a telemuhvision for my new man-cave, Sammy UE65F6400

I was so intent on getting a plasma that this almost slipped under my radar -
cracking value in comparison to the other 65" options on the market IMO, which would have meant either compromising on size or spending ~£3000-3500 for an F8500 or VT65, and neither option was particularly appetizing. Sadly Panny opted out of a 65" for the ST series this time around, which is a shame, as it would have made a great telly, but I reckon it's because the ST50 cannibalized on sales of the VT50 last time around. Could have opted for an ex-demo or refurb E8000 or ST50 for a bit less, but this came in tow with a 5y warranty which is a nice bonus, and I'll be saving ~£500 over the course of the next 5 years by going LCD over plasma as well, which is an added bonus. If you can't tell, I'm still trying to convince myself a little bit, but I reckon it's the right call for me at this time.

Great choice on the TV I have the 40" version.

Also congrats on house ownership! Home owning is a expensive hobbie, but so rewarding!
