Further expansion of my DC / Saturn collection:

Keyboard is like new (suprising TBH). Games are all in excellent condition (again surprising considering how easily the DC cases break / crack).

My growing Retro corner (TV cabinet is new hence it fits in here):

We had to completely reconfigure our second bedroom but I have finally got my little retro corner back after moving. I have had to balance the crisp VGA picture quality of the DC with decent enough picture quality on the older consoles, hence the flat panel LCD.

The TV cabinet itself was £21 from Argos. It is only cheap laminated MDF, but the colour hides most of the cheapness in real life.

On the hunt for a decent NES now.

Get it setup man! If you can on an older pre HDTV as the N64's blurryness is REALLY apparant on a larger HDTV. Zelda:MM was completely unplayable when I had it hooked up to my Sony Bravia 32" TV downstairs.

Luckily whoever had the Wii before me (got it used along with 15 GC games for £40) had downloaded Mario 64, Mario 3 & Super Mario World. I really want to get Mario 64 on the N64 9to play it with the N64 controller) but it looks much better via emulation on the Wii.

Need a DC mouse now for some QIII / Unreal fraggin fun.

Dressing gown, slippers and bottoms and top nightwear, not jamies. Hospital tomorrow and one does not like to be scruffy in front of strangers. My first foray into shops for many a year. Hated it.

Better yet, do a VGA mod and get an old CRT monitor, it's pure N64 heaven. Dreamcasts are lovely through vga too.

My sister used to work for Allen & Heath building that kind of kit, until they made her jobless and moved the operation out to China :(

How long does lego live for? 20+ years it would seem; I was gonna practice some macro photography on my little Lego space ship I custom built a few decades ago, but a vital part snapped when I was posing it ( the horror! ), so some replacements and reinforcements are in order to 'upgrade' her :D

Just blew my money on a Philips HUE starter kit and an industrial hanging light.
Looking forward to turn my bedroom in a place of style and colour. :D

I finally got impatient waiting for the UK release, plus there don't seem to be any UK companies who do a decent job of modifying a laptop, so I've just sent a wire transfer for this little powerhouse to Xotic PC:

    Gigabyte P34G v2

Downsides are American keyboard and import tax (money grabbing b******ds). Upsides are an upgraded SSD (512GB from a stock 128/256GB) and reapplied top grade thermal paste. I've also opted to up the RAM to 16GB.

I'll do a mini review when it finally arrives.

Doesn't surprise me, speaking to them it was all about turnover I was essentially a skilled factory worker to them I was surprised they have managed to keep their level of quality as they have taken over the audio market.

The STM boards are extremely cheap but a pain to use I really do despise them, after my exams I'll start using it

Then again I have other things on my mind that will leave satans development board in its package.

That gear looks really nice :thumb:

I wish you could get something like that for iPhone.... (screw you apple)

When my contract lets me upgrade Samsung are defiantly a consideration though, I really like the phones especially if I can pair it with a gear

    Let's see...

    Titan Black Hydro Copper
    4x Sapphire R9 290x
4x Aquacomputer nickel blocks and active backplates
    Corsair AXi 1500
Fans, dekatrons, driving circuits, car parts (including a new Optima battery), a Hakko FX888D soldering station, and a lot of new stuff for the holes in my head.

Disability finally paid me. Titan is for the wife.
