Bought Space Engineers; ram ALL the ships together :D

*I have been playing Hawken for the last 3 years, but sadly it seems as though nothing more is going to happen with regards to development, nice lengthy forum thread by some members indicates that the dev team is mostly gone due to lack of funds, technical issues have crippled further development ( no new maps, mechs, weapons, play modes, general features etc etc ), and due to being F2P the number of total fecking retards ruining almost every match is just way too high to put up with any longer.

    The joys of shopping online!

    Purchased 2 hardcover books
The World of Ice and Fire: The Untold History of Westeros and The Game of Thrones
The Slow Regard of Silent Things (Novella from Kingkiller Chronicles Trilogy)

Both came out yesterday, both were 50% off with free shipping from the Chapters website. I am happy / excited.

Went with the Arena Commander package and got the RSI Aurora MR. Just a simple starter plane but for now I want to try it first before shoving in a lot of bucks into the game.

Also picked up my Dolch keyset, matching color pack and some novelty dyesub caps.

That's what I did back at New Years. I'm now somewhere around $500 in ships (Aurora LN, Hornet F7C-R Tracker, Freelancer DUR, Origin M50). <- Innocent look

Expanding my DeWalt XR arsenal. Decided that I have no need for a mains powered drill at most jobs. My XR cordless (non SDS) drill has a standard hammer mode but I need the SDS to punch through stuff a lot of the time, and plugging in an extension lead for the 2kg mains SDS every time I need to drill a small hole is a PITA, so am replacing it in my site kit with an 18V rotary hammer.

D25124K will stay in the workshop unless what I'm doing is a really big job and the extra impact force it has is needed:

DCH254M2 18V 4Ah rotary SDS hammer will come with me each day to do the usual stuff which is drilling 6mm, 7mm, 8mm and 10mm fixers in light masonry:

Not really! It doesn't take much granite or other hard material in a wall to stop a normal hammer drill in its tracks!

I've spent well over €2000 on mechanical keyboards this year. Could be worse. :D

And I still have a mITX case that needs to be filled...

Wow! I won't tell you what I spent on test equipment this year thus far but I can say that it dwarfs that figure. That's for work though!

I like Maker's Mark. They make some really nice stuff.

Well worth checking out Blanton's too. They make some really awesome stuff. My favourite bourbon by far. Blanton's Straight from the Barrel being my favourite. I'm anything but a bourbon expert though.

Anything by George T Stagg is good too but mad expensive in the UK even if you can find it.

Probably go to the LCBO or Beer store shortly to pick up either a bottle of rum or a 12 pack. Got a halloween party this evening, intoxicated happy banana is best banana.

Edit: Completely forgot until just now. I also bought a red power rangers t-shirt, because its awesome.

Decided to embrace my inner peasantry.

I got the one without the mandatory evil camera. Got a nice discount for it too.

Fell for the hype. It's pretty fun though, although I'm not sure for how long. I like the 3 player co-op strikes, waiting to get to the Vault of Glass now to try that out too. Got a lvl 23 warlock so far. Not too thrilled about the 6vs6 PvP.

This was the thing that sold the set for me. Wasn't really that much interested in either console until I saw this. I bought the original Xbox just to get to play Halo. It and it's sequel are the games I've probably spent most hours in my life with, or atleast close to a tie with Colonization (on Amiga 500 no less) and Freespace 2. Never got around to get Xbox 360, so I've missed the other 2 games on the collection. The MCC on preorder, but I'm having a blast with Destiny while waiting.

Also, since our PS3 was released from it's duty as a netflix/blu-ray player , I gave it to our daughter and got her a new telly too.

Well I didn't realize it until I started adding everything up to answer this thread.

Almost half that was spent on parts and various bits and pieces for a custom keyboard. And collecting various keysets isn't cheap either.

I've spent small amounts here and there but I went a little crazy at the beginning of this year. :hehe:
