Looks nice Mr B, but personally I am not keen on boards that have small fans like that. I have found after a year or so they get noisy.

Just give the machine to me. My wife is a fully trained barista and knows how to get the best out of it. You'll just be wasting it, far better to find it a good home. Right?

    ...right?

Yeah haven't fired it up yet but from what I have read is that the 40mm fan has its own speed controller so shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Also its got a waterproof coating over the whole board lol :naughty:

To save yourself the hassle of having to have it take up space in your kitchen, your wife is welcome to pop round here to use it, ideally first thing, mid-morning and then again in late afternoon :D

Very nice! I'm going to be needing a third tripod soon because I converted one of my Velbon DV7000s into a foldable light stand for a pair of LED floodlights to use as work/photography lamps :D

Any idea what head you will be putting on it?

Konica Autoreflex TC with Konica Hexanon 40mm f/1.8 (mainly for the lens)
Tiny (about an inch long), fast, pretty sharp, what more could you want?
The focal length is pretty interesting to work with too.

Recently bought myself 3 x Cougar CF-V12HP fans, a Swiftech 8way PWM splitter board, and a pwm extension.

Time to replace those shoddy Corsair case fans, ahh slience.

    This:

Velbon V4 boom arm, along with an L bracket and Giottos Ball head, and the 7D + 100mm f/2.8 Macro. With this setup, I can get right down to the ground and point up/down as needed for capturing the bugs and flowers etc. I do plan on getting a 2nd camera body at some point, something fairly small and light which won't be such a pain to carry around when I don't need the burst rate or extra buttons of the 7D.

    I accidentally...

Hideous keycaps, but that will soon be resolved.

They're not that bad! I think it's a pretty nice looking board.

Looks nice, but I still couldn't face a keyboard without a numpad (and basic media buttons).

The font on the alphas is pretty bloody awful, I don't mind it so much on the modifiers. Generally though, it is a nice looking board.

I think I became so familiar with that font from my Saitek keyboards that it doesn't bother me any more ;)

I had the Eclipse and Eclipse II back in the day, but I've been spoiled with much nicer boards (and kepcaps) since then.

I had Saitek's for 7 years.. If it wasn't for me winning this K60 at the bit-tech pub quiz back in the day, I'd almost certainly still be on one.

I used the Eclipse (and later the Cyborg V.5) on both my work and gaming rigs for about 8 years, until I discovered mechanical keyboards and went with a mixture of KBC, Corsair, Noppoo and Filco! :D
