Yeah Business use, we've got a couple of people with the 5s already and they haven't had any issues, so took the saving over the 6. I was a little concerned but so far things seem to be OK.

As I don't really know Apple products that well I didn't even know the Configurator existed, but they're all setup individually and had a trip into the shed to have serial number laser etched to make them easier to keep track of.

    Ssssshhhh she'll find out :D

Actually purchased a little while ago, but only just delivered:

My watch looks like an Atari ST. Money well spent.

The shed roof sprung a leak and gave my power saw and jigsaw a proper dowsing, and I borrowed a mate's Scorpion - very impressive for the money - so I bought one (with a case).

I can use it to fix the shed.

I bought one a couple of years ago and it's been seriously abused! but it just keeps on going. The only downside is the replacement blades are expensive (or they were when I last looked).

Obviously it's designed for the home user but my neighbour says his has had plenty of stick. TBH the only B&D stuff that's failed me is a grass strimmer. My cordless drill is a B&D and it's older than my teenage son.

A three pack of blades was £11 I think.

You could have bought one 1.5 litre pipette and been done in a fraction of the time!

Also bought one of these a couple of weeks back, brilliant device. Got mine in the 2 for £45 deal at B&Q with a jigsaw. Made constructing the chicken run a breeze.

How do these Scorpion jobbies perform compared to a reciprocating saw? I've heard of them but don't know much about them, its is basically a smaller reciprocating saw?

Never used a reciprocating saw from any other manufacturer but basically yes.

Sounds good for the price then, I got a Hitachi corded model for some demo work at the Mrs. house which has been great but it was also £120 so for the DIY'er the Scorpion sounds like a good buy

Well, I'll be using all three blades tomorrow, weather permitting - I have to shorten a steel tube, saw some timber and jigsaw a curve in a worktop.

    I'll report back.

I'll keep an eye out :)

As you may have seen from the Makita stuff I put in here - I'm a sucker for a new diy toy lol.

I have no illusions about it's power and capability in comparison to Makita equipment, but price is much more palatable.

As far as I can tell, the Scorpion is fine and good value as long as you don't want to do anything too heavy duty or precise with it.
