Lawdy - that is very affordable indeed. I checked Black Circles when it came to swapping mine over, but they were a bit pricier than Event Tyres, who come to you as an added bonus.

The fronts on both mine and my wife's car seem to be a slightly off size, making them more expensive than the larger rears in both cases

That's what you get with fancy cars! >.>

    Or drag cars I guess.

Hm, coming to me would have been ideal as the RS doesn't have an MOT yet, thus no tax, so I've booked an MOT at the same place for half an hour later in case old Plod pull me over on the way, as there's no way it's passing with the fronts the way they are. Both sides have got chunks out of the side wall. But no major curb marks around the missing chunks. Confused.

I feel like the rear tyres on drag cars are definitely the more expensive ones compared to the bicycle wheels on the front!

I've always gone somewhere for tyres before, I just stumbled upon Event tyres in my googling, and didn't even realise that they came to me until determining that they were the cheapest. I'm never going somewhere to fit tyres again though, the service was great.

Incidentally it was actually AA that came out, checked AA after the fact and they were more expensive than Event - go figure!

I'd bloody hope so. But Americans are weird, so maybe their tyre prices are arse over head too.

Huh, I guess Event are middlemen that get discounts based on the amount of work or something? I dunno if buying in bulk works for tyre fitters, but hey.

Picked up 3 "sports shirts" for work. Had a coupon for $30 off if you spent over 100 before taxes. Total came to 101 something. Quite happy with that!

Badass indeed! I'd forgotten that such a thing existed. Interesting that Maximus V Gene boards seem to have gone to ground all of a sudden.
That Rampage is making my poor Max VI Impact feel a bit insecure, even though it's pretty loaded.
What case are you going to use?

    Meh, easy.

I've split it down into smaller sealed bags with additional O2 absorption. It'll last pretty well.

Was at an event in Liverpool this weekend when my cheap Jessops flash gun gave up the ghost. Mad dash to the nearest camera shop later, and I've got this:
Nikon SB-800 speedlight. It's a discontinued model, and set me back £190 second-hand (which is about £30 more than a brand-new one would cost on FleaBay, but that's the price you pay for needing something Right Damn Now). Money I could have done without spending, but there's no denying it's a lot better than my old flash - and is fully boxed with all paperwork and all accessories, including the case, stand, wide-angle filter, warming gel, and a battery cover which allows it to run from five AAs instead of four for longer runtime.

Usually spend £30 a month on biltong. Go to the shop on a Thursday/Friday, and it doesnt last me to Saturday.

Not seen them before, but If I'm heading to Putney its usually to visit St Marcus' just around the corner.
