    Waaaay ahead of you! Well, except for Lagerstein. Alestorm introduced me to the notion of pirate themed metal, I've seen 'em live in more cramped shitty venues that only serve Bank's more often than I care to count!

    Same here man. I saw them recentlyish, supported by Lagerstein and Rainbowdragoneyes. Great Gig, had more fun there than at bigger venues.

    Rainbowdragoneyes released a pirate themed album recently, covered alestorm and lagerstein too, among others. He's really good for a one man band.

    Paddy and the Rats are an AMAZING punk/folk band as well. They do a lot of nautical/pirate themed music.

    I shall investigate!

    I love that Alestorm aren't above hanging out with the fans post-gig. I pointed them out to a mate and he was all "No way man, not them" so after asking Chris to prove me right, he appeared with tia maria & baileys and had a shockingly bad picture taken of him. Nice bloke, although questionable taste in alcohol!

    Moto G 3rd Gen with raspberry flip case except I was unaware that raspberry means pink which is not a manly man colour so it will need to go and a replacement sought.

    Just taken delivery of this little puppy:

    Knock-off Trijicon ACOG sight, to go on my MP5K. It's rather clever: it has a strip of optical fibre which provides the illumination for the red-dot (well, green dot, actually) sight portion, so it doesn't need batteries. Where a real (and $$$) ACOG uses tritium to glow in the dark, though, this is completely useless if you don't have at least some light shining down on the top of the sight. As I'm not in the habit of shooting the MP5K in the dark, though, it'll do nicely. Looks the biz on top of the gun, too!
