2x General Admission tickets to see Iron Maiden in Cape Town in May 2016.
First time in 15 years or so Maiden is hitting Africa, first time with Dickinson.

I caved and bought a Dell U3014. It was between that and the Eizo CX271 which was similarly priced but smaller/lower resolution (27" vs 30").

I'm aware that I've taken a gamble with Dell and their shoddy quality control (I remember saying I wouldn't buy one) but I'm more comfortable spending less than £700 on a monitor that I may not need 3 years from now, or even less, and it does have a full 3 year warranty.

Also, I'd kick myself if I spent £1K on a 27" monitor and then decided I didn't like it.

Next on the shopping list: i1 Display Pro for calibration, and an Intuos Pro Large to replace my aging Intuos3. :)

At first i was like "that is some weirdly damaged display" :D.

I bought myself another displayport cable, finally i have no random signal losses on my 4k display.

A fine choice Bought a U3011 for twice the price of the 16:9 27" at the time and worth every penny.

Yeah I actually used to own a U3011 but wasn't making good use of it so sold it on. This time, however, it'll be used for hours every day and I'll be keeping it!

    iPhone 6S 64GB Silver -

Upgrade from a iPhone 5s 16GB Space grey. My contract is about to run out and even though my phone is in flawless condition i wasn't quite satisfied with the 5s anymore (mainly capacity, wanting a bigger screen) For the extra £10-£20 a month i was willing to go for it a little.

Hopefully won't regret it - (Still kind of thinking i should have gone for a gold one though, Regardless its going to be put into a case 100% of the time so colour is irrelevant)

    Seasick Steve - Hubcap Music
Seasick Steve - Walkin' Man (The Best of Seasick Steve)
The Hillbilly Moon Explosion - Damn Right Honey
    Imelda May - Tribal
The Creepshow - Life After Death
The Creepshow - Run For Your Life
The Creepshow - They All Fall Down
Kitty In A Casket - Bittersweet
    Bong-Ra - Stereohype Heroin Hooker
Bong-Ra - Bikini Bandits Kill Kill Kill

The Bong-Ra albums are the ones I went there to buy, but the promise of MP3's being immediately available just made me buy more. Goddamnit, it was like being in a record store that let you sample albums.

Thanks, I wondered what I was doing wrong as my mouse was really hard to control on the rolling cylinder.

I was driving one of them recently, really rated it :thumb:

Although I did have to get the manual out to find the release for the fuel flap! :hehe:
