I never understood water filters, until the first time I tasted tap water in London. By golly that stuff is grim. Makes good old Yorkshire Water's output taste like the nectar of the gods!

London tap water obviously inspired Terry Pratchett to describe the water from the river Ankh this way: "A water that has been filtered by so many kidneys can only be very pure indeed"
    or
"A water so full of life can't be bad for health" :worried:

    Wait wait wait.

People drink out of the taps in London?!

I boil water down there. If I'm too close to Croydon I have a priest on hand to perform an exorcism, too.

Oh good, glad to hear this as I've just agreed to buy one from the MP for my aging X58 machine to replace an ancient and dying GTX295. Unfortunately I had a H80i leak in this thing last week and I'm also down one RAM module to 8GB and a slightly corroded DIMM slot. Still, could have been worse; it could have fried the whole board!

Good grief that looks and sounds like an immense watch. Must resist urge to put it on wish list...

That looks and sounds like a fantastic idea. The cooler in work which I drink a couple of liters per day from is mains supplied but not filtered, so this might be a good solution to the poor taste I sometimes get from it.

I've just bought a 970 because my older rig was severely lacking in GPU power compared to the big rig with the 980s! :D

Exactly. Nothing wrong with it. It's gone through a lot of treatment to get through your tap. I like the minerals' in London tap water. :D

That's one diddy jerry can, I quite fancy a 10L in yellow...
It may be small and less practical than its bigger siblings; still way nicer than those horrible red and green plastic cans that seem to breed in my garage.
Nice to see another BT member in Sunny Bournemouth, greetings from Southbourne!
