Impulse bought a 10-18mm lens today. I'd just submitted a visa application and was waiting for my Uber to show up, so I wandered into a nearby Canon store to kill time and, well...

Yep! Only 300 made. Mine is #167. I'll be putting a 980Ti in it and using it for gaming/VR. It should be here Thursday or Friday. I'll be selling the GTX780 3Gb, so if anyone is interested . . . especially in the U.S. My current machine will also be sold or parted out, but before I can do that I'll need to get a NAS of some kind.

Hmm, must look into a different advent calendar next year. I had a chocolate in mine this morning. Perhaps there will be something more interesting on the 25th.

See I thought I could manage without an advent calender this year, but turns out I'm wrong.

I also love new carpets and if you marry it with a decent underlay then 7th heaven here I come.

I know, it looks lighter than it did in the shop, but should be fine. We have a very fluffy black cat so have to hoover regularly anyway.

The smell is one of those smells that make you go ahhhhhh.

Yep underlay is perfect, despite it being a tough carpet it still feels soft when on bare feet :D

Spoke to my old flat mate today and he still has permission to use a farmers field for shooting and other stuff, so I'll have room to swing it finally- damn thing is 163cm long... :D
