I've gone completely barmy and bought myself another bass trombone :D A King 7B clone this time. I once played on a 50s era King and loved it to death, such a gorgeous sound! This one's based on a slightly newer 70s model but my God I love it for the slow ballady stuff.

I can't quite make it out; what brand/model is that? I recently picked up a Sanyo projector with a 1024x768 native resolution, and I've been on the lookout for something that accepts 1080p or HDMI and is in a widescreen format. I know it's only 800x480, but it might be worth a look - projectors with native "HD" resolutions aren't cheap.

'Wot Shirty said: it's an Elephas. Cheap, cheerful, and a bit blurry - but it does work. Plenty of inputs, too: composite, HDMI, VGA, and an RF input I haven't tried yet.

Sadly, they don't make matching pedals. :sigh:
However, I already have a set of Saitek's pedals under my desk as this is to replace an X52Pro.
Maybe Imma get a set of MFG Crosswinds NEXT crimbo! :thumb:

Sounds fun. Wish I had the time and/or money for a proper flight sim setup.

Meanwhile, I've purchased a Samsung 850 Pro 256GB and a Hitachi 1TB 5400rpm drive for my Macbook. The Samsung has replaced an old OCZ Vertex3 120GB, so that's a neat little performance/capacity boost for the boot drive.

The Hitachi was supposed to replace the Toshiba 750GB mech HDD that sits in my optical drive bay, but unfortunately it died within minutes of being plugged in. Made some awful grinding and clicking noises and refused to be detected by the system after working fine for a few short moments :(

That is an awesome deal, however my Christmas funds will not be replenished till the New Year.

Not helped that I just 'treated' myself to a Creative E5 external DAC/ headphone amp thing, Sony MDR 10 rbt headphones and some nice white keycaps for my keyboard (Ducky shine 4 set on a Legend). My excuse is I am investing in tech that my family will also use. Best thing is they almost believe it as well. :naughty:
