Very nice ! My cinema set up is all Scandyna. Well, apart from the center channel I never did get around to replacing that.

    B & W stuff is immense.

I went through a few pairs of lower end tannoys and missions till I bought a Pair of 602 S2's (for £55 if I remember!).

One of the few things I will never sell. Ever.

Great set up there, know a lot of work has gone into it.

Got some 685's myself, love em.

Is that a 65" Sammy there Tad? Any reason for the white wall behind the TV or is it just decorative?

Yes, I was driving for 4 miles in reverse…

No but apparently being in reverse makes the leak a million times worst :)

Treated myself to a totally unnecessary side-grade graphics card purchase - a KFA2 GTX770 LTD (all white, inc. PCB). Unexpectedly it's even faster than my existing 770 which is already fast. The KFA2 runs at 1306MHz core out-of-box, no tweaking. Pics to follow.

Lol, now that's a great deal. I remember buying some energy drink a while back in a SPAR shop; £1 each, or two for £1... :D

Read it recently. If you liked the old books you will also like this one. I didn't expect that much, given the author and because I'm pretty much always sceptical about picking up stories that were told (and possibly finished) years ago. It was fun, it has flaws (essentially the same as the old books), nice pace, interesting new characters, all in all worth a read. :thumb:

    Bought recently:

Grim Dawn in the Steam sale for 15 Euros (loving it!)

    Books (as usual)

Custom tips for my girlfriend's in-ears (HiFiMAN RE-400)

New Year's dinner for two in our favourite restaurant (5 courses for 69 Euros per person)

Lots of other stuff I just don't remember right now...

I didn't buy the cards my dad bought them for me as a thank you for all the free upgrades in the past, but I did buy the SLI bridge and a pair of HyperX Cloud II headsets which are not pictured.

He bought me 2 MSI GTX 980Ti Gaming Twin Frozr cards which are now installed and getting benchmarked at 4K to see how they perform compared to my old, GTX 780Ti SLI setup.

One thing I have noticed up to now is that the max fps in Metro 2033 and Last Light have took a hit, but the min and avg which are more important have increased.

Also been cheeky and hit Scan, nVidia and MSI up on Twitter to see if I can get the Tomb Raider codes as we couldn't wait till tomorrow to order the cards, when the Tomb Raider promo goes live.

Well he has had roughly £5k worth of upgrades off me over the past few years, and he has got my 780Ti's out of it.

I didn't know he had ordered them for me till Tuesday morning when he told me, I thought he was joking so logged in to my Scan account and saw the order.

Running benchmarks etc and hearing no coil whine yet and can barely even hear the fans, the cards are quite heavy but the performance in benchmarks up to now means I should have no problems with the games I play, playing them at 4K now.

I suppose it may also be a thank you for becoming my mums full time carer as well but that was a no brainer for me to do, as no one else in the family could do it.

    Well happy :D
