As life has been a bit troublesome of late, I've treated myself to a bit of retail therapy and picked up a new pen.

Lamy Tri-Pen in stainless steel finish. It's a black ballpoint, an orange ballpoint, and a mechanical pencil in one normal-thickness pen. It's lovely. (I've turned into a bit of a Lamy fan of late: my main pen is the Lamy Al-Star rollerball in orange and I've got a Lamy Safari for when I fancy a bit of fountain action.)

Ooh, that looks smashing! Curse you, though, because I now want one but I can't decide whether the stainless steel or brushed finish looks better.

Not actually a purchase yet, but I've just signed up for Sky's new "Q" hardware.

That remote looks like a parent's worst nightmare.

Edit: How much a month!? Jebus...

It's only a couple of quid more than I'm paying already, and the remote is VERY similar to the one for my Samsung TV, right down to being bluetooth so the box can be hidden.
Plus the broadband router is MILES ahead of their current offering!
(Fibre T&Cs mean this is the only legal way to use something better than the current model)

£110 for the fountain version? £45 for the rollerball? Too rich for my blood, that. Purty, tho'.

Power metres are bad for the soul. You'll realise how hard 300 watts actually is and spend the rest of your life chasing another 50.

One of these, as is traditional I have murderised it's predecessor through excessive use and lack of maintenance, load a new one and carry on.

^ Such an awesome brush pen. Just a few days ago I took delivery of four FP10 cartridges to keep my pen happy for the next few weeks/months. :)
