Yeah, it gets scary, I'm at 32TB plus miscellaneous SSDs and sticks :worried:

Nowhere near that much actual data, just paranoid with redundancy or mirror + backup at the very least.

You don't need to fill hard drives with "spreadsheets and powerpoints" these days, that's what sites like SpreadsheetHub and PowerPointHub are for. Don't waste your disk space on something you can stream!

A million times this! Long gone are my days of downloading all the "Backdoor VB MILF*" and "Massive Spreadsheets - So big it hurts" videos and keeping them locally. Stream it all now, much easier. And less likely to get found with a massive filthy spreadsheet collection. Plus it now frees up space for my henta....anime collection :thumb:

I'm so tired right now I had to read this three times before I clocked what you guys are actually talking about. I was poised to type a reply about "redundancy for important files..." and now I realise we're not talking about important files. LOL.

That very much depends on personal preference. My monitor is 2560x1440 @32 inches and hits the sweet spot for me. My eyesight is not as good as it once was and I have a second pair of glasses, just for the PC.

    APC Back-UPS 700VA baby UPS

It's been something on my "I should get around to" list for literally years. Had the first power cut in forever at the weekend, and powering the server back on was stressful. No harm done (and thanking ReFS for not needing an offline chkdsk on a couple 11TB volumes), but would prefer elegant shutdowns in future.

...And a CBT course. The bike itself will be next EDIT: and I need the back insert for the jacket.

34 years old and not being able to drive is an embarrassment. I could get away with it if I lived/worked in the city centre but I don't. Cycling in isn't always an option, and I am so... goddamn... SICK of the local bus "service".
