    New 28" 4K (3840 x 2160) Dell Monitor for £263 (down from £500 odd). (Linky

I've been after a 2nd monitor for a while (missed having double monitors since my old 19" died last year) and it seemed like too good of a price to pass up and should be a bit of an upgrade from my current main 22" one.

Yes I know they are trump trainers. My existing pair of New Balance Walking boots have split. I live, breathe and mountain bike in them *Daily*. Every other pair of footwear would die and these will last me at least 2 years of hard graft.

    Verify my purchase.

Proper expensive controllers, in configurations you didn't know existed. Have fun with the builder.

My Merrell walking boots have split too and leak like sieves, extra annoyingly they are only about half worn on the soles.

I've just moved up to Oboz, they look and feel like a big step up in quality.

They look a bit too power tool ish for me. I do wear these to/from work and like the minimal look. Will take photos when they arrive tuesday to show you as these are not realistic.

After the last pairs of Merrell walking boots and shoes I decided i needed to go for more serious walking footwear. Merrells have proven themselves to be exceedingly comfortable when new but, fall down badly on quality and durability. The Obozs should, hopefully, suit my purpose perfectly. I'll be buying the low shoe version for the warmer, dryer months.

As an owner of both the regular and Elite controllers (Steal on ebay, I'm not crazy enough to drop £100+ on a console controller..), it's.. Nicer.

Heavier, the vibration feels better, the paddles to replace thumb buttons are fantastic in FPS games - I can't play Halo without them anymore - and the adjustability of the thumbsticks and D-Pad is very nice.

My 7 year old Sombrio Super Storm jacket finally had to go, I've literally worn it so much it's gone transparent at the shoulders.

Naturally Sombrio went bust, got bought out and no longer makes the Super Storm jacket, so two new jackets are required to match it's awesome utiility.

    Car insurance

One day I swear I'm going to burn all of the *******s to the ground. Until then, I'll continue to get royally screwed like everyone else. Also, insurance companies want to know about any points on your licence for five years now instead of four. Which is nice.

    God I hate them.

Got some really good deals this Black Friday.

Bought FITBIT Flex Activity and Sleep Wristband. Got a very good bargain on this one.

Bought two years subscription of PureVPN in their cyber Monday value deal and an added addon for Nat Firewall with added discount on it.
