MSI GTX 1080 Aero OC - £389.99 on OcUK

Sorry wallet, I couldn't resist... And yes, I know the Ti is about to launch, and there's Vega around the corner, but that seemed like a deal to me.

    EDIT:

I do have to think about what to do with this monitor now though... Hmm.

    Well we shall soon see.

In all honesty i wanted a plain one without the Team dig logo on there but it was cheaper than any of the others and I do like team dig at or at least did when i used to watch starcraft 2 alot

    That's a crazy low price for a 1080. Was it B grade?

Yep. Bought more from the clearance section of OcUK than the main shop, never had any problems (touch wood!). They still have a Gigabyte G1 1080 for the same price, was also a FE card for £399 but that went pretty quick too!

I hate the standard, garish Hakko blue & bile yellow colour scheme, but it's apparently the only version anyone stocks. I had to contact the UK distributor to source the silver model. Saved £10-35 though, depending on whether or not you count the courier charge.

And that completes my little home electronics workshop. Next stop...An Openbuilds CNC Router

Actually this is the Quickshot Python 1M :p

There are superior joysticks out there but I had this one when I was a kid, so I couldn't bring myself to buy anything else :).

Ask and ye shall receive: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RetroFun-...Amiga-Atari-Commodore-to-PC-USB-/172259311913

Could probably put something together using an Arduino Nano/Micro, too. EDIT: Evidently, Gareth beat me to it.

    Also:

    Not cheap: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_f...lete=1&LH_Sold=1&rt=nc&_trksid=p2045573.m1684

To be fair, I was wondering about eBay prices because I have an A1200 in my cupboard (with accelerator card and 300MB hard drive, no less) :)

There seems to be a large amount of these on Ebay. I offered £140, offer accepted.

I know it's nowhere near as good as CV1, but, couple of things. Firstly I don't think my Titan XM would be able to drive CV1 to its full potential (would need at least a 1080 for that) and secondly £140.

I feel very comfortable at that price. Even if I just use it a few times and find it's not for me it's far less than £600+.

Time to start VR benching on the typhoon lol.
