That is a cracking HSF. First rate.

I've always liked the Noctua fan colours.

Because Noctua! :D Nice cooler BTW

I have a desert brown case which is the only setup I've seen that REALLY suits Noctuas, but I guess the're well known for those colours and it's too late to go back.

Apart from lacking the rubber corner bumpers, I've been pleased with Reduxes - if I bought a Noctua CPU cooler, it would get an immediate Redux transplant!

Good lord they got cheap... I'm assuming they're still supported - any idea how long for? The only solid info I could find was that they would be supported "through 2016".

At that kind of price I am really really tempted.

I've had one for a while and they're pretty impressive. With my 3570k and GTX 970, I don't notice any real lag on my network.

I add individual games to my library from Emulators to launch them through big picture so I can use the Steam Controller. You can even get banners for them and such, it's pretty ace.

Been chatting in the VR thread. Seems there are no plans to pull support yet. TBH that would be a poor show, however I suspect that you'd get some sort of hack any way.

Yeah, it's almost a disposable price tbh. Even the crappy Chinese knock offs are about £220. There must have been a large stash of them somewhere, 'cause loads of sellers on Ebay seem to have them for around the same price. I made sure mine had feedback of the actual thing.

It shipped DHL. Supposed to arrive today :)

Whilst it is a good price, the DK2 isn't supported by the newer Oculus SDKs. Support as a development system ended at the start of 2017. Chances are it might still work for most things, but not officially.

Any idea which SDK I need then? I'm worrying about getting it set up.

Just noticed Amazon are listing "Noctua Industrial" fans, which are the standard black with those brown anti-vibration corners in your pic.

I've never understood the pork scratchings colour scheme either, it must surely put off some people buying their otherwise very good fans.

Well, at least it's distinctive... But they do look pretty grim. Fortunately my case doesn't have a window :D

It's funny how opinion divides us - I just put four Noctuas in my case and one of the main reasons for choosing them was the colour (but not just the colour, ofc.).

Personally, I don't actually mind the colour per se. However, sometimes I see a Noctua "in the flesh" as it were and can't decide if they look better or worse than they do in pictures :D

At the end of the day, it's a component that (for me, at least) is going to live inside a small metal box and never be seen. So in that respect, I'd rather it looked a bit... different... but worked well than looked amazeballs (LED fans, anyone?) but didn't actually do a great job.

The thing with Noctua... I hated the colours, then I won a load in a competition and fell in love with the quality. I know it's only a fan, but I have handled quite a few in my time and they are just lovely.

So you sorta learn to live with the colour lol.

Ninty switch, got cuaght up in hype so shoulda waited as the two games i want splatoon and mario arnt out yet.

Inital impression ninty pretty much nailed it design and use wise apart from the flimsy cart slot.
I just got 1-2 switch game which the kids already love.
Beefy sd card will be a must have extra for this as well as a screen protector.

I also got extra joy cons, blue and red, the extra offical straps are a diff shade of blue and red, not sure if ninty ballsed up somat on production or some thing

I tried my brother's earlier. Impressive system, but there really aren't that many games available at the moment. But technically very impressive indeed.
