My copy of Vista idles at about 1GB(of 4GB) memory usage, but that is all superfetch application data, I believe, so it should free up the space when you actually try to use it.

But he doesn't pay for any of that, and he never used the money for gas, and the next 2 weeks i have to drive him to school. I think i'll be like him and ask for gas money, or ask for that 20 bucks back and call it even as it was my parent's money... And he's the idiot that can't drive and reversed into a parked car last week also... Not me... Why should i have to chip in for his accident.

I bought Age of Conan... Sweet game

I just discovered our company intranet site sells merchandise to employess. Some quite nice quality stuff though! Just placed an order for (company branded):

    One large red hoodie
    One desk organiser set
    One huge bag of sweets
    One nice set of pens
    Plenty of stationery
And a cool translucent USB key. All for less than 20 quid. Result!

derailleur pulleys, 2 for $60. bike parts make computer parts seem cheap.

320GB 7200RPM 2.5" drive for my MBP... with luck that'll postpone me buying a proper desktop for a while still.

    And dinner at Bertuccis.

Not strictly a purchase, but I finally got round to plugging and old IDE hard drive I got as a spare from my dad. It hasn't been used for a few years but is full of wonders - I just had a quick game of Civ 2.

The best bit, is it has 3000 mp3's on it from my Dad's collection, including Bob Marley and Led Zeppelin.

But, at the time my sister was using that pc, and I've also inherited Avril Lavigne, Busted, and my favourite, Kelly Clarkson. Ohhhh-yeah!

If it's within your budget... you ought to consider the 320GB WD Scorpio 'Black' SATA II (WD3200BEKT. 7200rpm/16MB cache. 5 year warranty)
