Na, it's so you can call the witness and intimidate them without them knowing who you are.

Well yes and no. Couldn't get a white/porcelain one on the NHS and it's one towards the front of the side so paid private prices for that.

    Vanity costs :)

Ha. I'm being harsh really, she's had alot of bother with her teeth and she didn't have much choice because there wasn't much tooth left so the cheap option wasn't an option.

Anyway, she treats herself to a tooth, i'll treat myself to a monitor. Fair's fair :)

    lol you guys :D

Whenever a tooth bothers me now I have it pulled. Being Autistic I tend to bite and grind a lot, and most of my eating teeth just cracked and fell apart. Given toothache is the worst sort of pain ever (even worse than broken limbs etc) I just decided at one point that I was sick of continually being in pain, so had about half of mine removed. Never looked back tbh. I've got dentures if we go to social/family gatherings and that does for me.

I grew sick of dentists spending hours working on my teeth only for them to fail and leave me in even worse pain. I soon figured out a dentist will do what is best for his bank account, not your suffering so yeah, out they go lol.

I've had one extracted some 5 years ago - it was more costly than actually having it filled. Thing is it was removed because of the tooth next to it, a wisdom tooth because it was growing at an odd angle so the healthy tooth next to it was removed - the dentist I saw last week said he would never have done that and would have had me sent to hospital for an op to have all my wisdom ones out.

I had all of my wisdom teeth taken out one at a time on numerous visits. The last one I decided to be brave and walk home (about 1.5 miles) it was freezing, and I bled so much and swallowed a load of blood. Passed out in the bedroom about 3ft from the bed lol. Won't do the macho thing again.

Realised the M.2 SSD case I bought is coming from China. So I kinda got impatient. I bought this for £17.99

I could have gotten one cheaper but I just want it back up and running. Gonna look like ass because you have to connect a cable, but at least OCUK had this for £3.95 instead of around £15.

Hopefully by this time Thursday I will be back on my daily beater :)

Been a while since I posted in this thread, so I've bought a few things over the last couple of months.
Found the blue Lego X-Wing kit on sale in Tesco for £40 instead of the £80-odd it normally goes for (so i couldn't leave it there for that price) and I got the Lego Y-Wing for my birthday last month.
A Corsair Lapdog for my K70 RGB, which I'm quite happy with (twas half price on Corsair's website) I just wish I could also use the wrist rest with it.
And bought the pre-order the Destiny 2 on XB1 on the weekend. Bring on the Beta :D

Edit: almost forgot, a shedload of Discworld audiobooks bringing my collection up to 22, and the first 2 Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy audiobooks.

Bazz, can you let me know what this is like to build a system into when you get your hands on it?

A mate had that done recently and paid for white, he said you could get gold on the NHS but not white ceramic! Sounds mad to me. He didn't fancy a grill full of bling so paid and went private.

My brother did a build in a 540 Air, I recall him saying the supplied USB 3 cable was a tad on the short side but otherwise a pleasure to put it all together.
