I'd say that's a very sensible colour - close enough to your target for the day. I'd take that as a win :)

You need to get a shim on that bad boy. Something in an entirely unnecessary colour, too, like hot pink.

    Where would I get one?

Legoman I think it's a 2400 mate. I can just about make that out without squinting too much. I am going to have to down clock it I think. It's getting water too, thanks to a very generous member here (ignore the fact it's black and the top is missing I am having a new top machined for it)

I have posted a log in Hardware called "I am Oldskool".

    2400+, 1.65V AXDA?
iirc 1.85V and it should do 150-166FSB (14.5 x 166 = 2407. 15 x 166 = ~2.5GHz which is a 25% OC it probably won't be happy). Knock down the memory ratios and make sure it only uses two DIMM.

These days? God knows. Stick a Wanted ad in the Marketplace and cross yer fingers, I guess - and p'haps set up a few FleaBay alerts while you're at it.

I've only got one stick of memory Rich. Crucial 512mb DDR 400. I am aiming for 1999 performance. That was the perfect time to be running Daytona PC and Sega Rally maxed out. A pipe dream when they first launched. That's why I have chosen 3Dlabs, because the last card I had them running maxed out on was a 32mb Oxygen. I know the GF2MX is overkill and makes the FPS spaz because I tried it in 2001.

There's one in the USA made from copper. If I can get the thickness I will make my own.

Been watching too many Clickspring videos I think...

Here goes nothing, I ordered a CJ18A Mini-Lathe plus assorted gubbins/upgrades to get me going! I racked up a couple hundred hours on the lathes at school as a teenager so it feels like coming home for me. I can't wait to begin destroying some metal stock as I learn the ins and outs of this particular model. Would have gone larger but one literally can't fit in my workshop without making some major workspace sacrifices that aren't viable.

Now, I just need a straw hat, a piece of wheat to chew, a rocking chair and a banjo.

He needs to get them out quicker. I love his work. and I would love a mini lathe but currently need more space for a workshop i can be happy with.

Quite often around the lanes here, tractors pulling big trailers hit branches down from the overhanging trees. I went out this morning and brought home about 11 feet of hazel branch.
