It was mentioned on HUKD that there was a pricing error where codes were incorrectly stacking. I never believed Tesco would actually honour it but sure enough I got sent 3 months Live within an hour of placing the order and last night the Xbox was dispatched. COD comes later next week because it's coming Royal Mail I believe. Crazy!

Ironically I've pre-ordered an Xbox One X, due to come next week, so the S is somewhat surplus to requirements!

Rear trailing arm bushes for the Mondeo. Laaame. That's next weekend taken care of time wise, then.

Just got the Steam Link today and I have to say I'm impressed with it. It's been streaming wirelessly with the setting set to lowest picture quality/best response time and from a distance the picture looks fine and even up close it's not bad. I've mostly been playing racing games with a wired Xbox 360 controller and I've not noticed any input lag at all. It gets a thumbs up from me.

It works natively with the PS3 controller too, which sold me. (that's all I have and I'm not paying silly money for a new pad)

I'd offer you £55 inc for the Xbox One S. That way you got it all for free and you can share the fortune?

You getting the tool to blurt them in rather than replacing the whole arm?

Just bought a very neglected Mk4 and am sure that these will need doing on mine at some point!

I am - But I'm getting a cheapy chinese clone of the good ones, I fully expect it to work twice and need some modifications. Fortunately, one of the two has already decided life isn't worth living so getting it out won't be that hard, and the other is making the same decision so hopefully shouldn't be too bad either.

FWIW - Halfords Cannock will do it for about £300 (They quoted me £308.92 over the phone). Also a Mk4 (The first generation, 2007.5 model year).

Even with the tool and the bushes it will come to half that.

Will investigate when I am next under the car, new set of pads and discs next weekend :(

    Yeah, I paid about that.

Fronts or rears? The rear disc will swap without needing to take the carriers off - But the handbrake cable will get in the way of the top slide pin bolt on both sides. You can undo it without removing the cable, but you do need to remove it to swap the bolt.

Took about two hours to do my rears on my own last weekend, so even on the oldest of the MkVI's it shouldn't be too bad.

I needed a TX..30 or 40 for the disc retaining bolt, a 13mm spanner for the slide pin bolt, and a slim 15mm spanner for the slide pin itself. Aside from a wire brush, file, plusgas, copper slip and brake clean, as well as the wheel nut sockets, that was all I needed to get the job done.

IMO you need the tool to do it in-situ, or if you have a press and the appropriate cups you could whip the arm off the car. But I'm not exactly a professional, so there's probably other ways to do it.
