That ought to be enough to get the Fury X running in the loop :)

Do not use the carbide V, well unless you want a smaller knife in short order

Agreed it eats blade, the ceramic though works very nicely.

Yeah, the brief instructions tell you to only use the carbide bit on your properly knackered knives, and even then for a swipe or three only. I mainly got it for the ceramic bit plus the handy-dandy tapered diamond bit so I can get in and sort out some of the serrated blades that are a bit too cramped for my Gatco Tri-Seps.

mine mostly lives in the garage and rarely comes out to play, but it is handy for serrated blades

To replace my Be Quiet DPP that gave up the ghost after 8+ years and a trip to NZ and back. May it rest in pieces.

Just found out that EVGA Power Link does not fit a Fury X. Doesn't it now? :dremel: "Would you like me to add some asses to that swine of yours?"

Jokes aside though this is why.

They stick out about 2mm proud of the cooler.

They sit in about 2mm from the cooler. However, my card has this.

in Black acetal, which obviously if it does stick proud of the power sockets I can easily take 2mm off of it with my Dremel.

What is about February that make a man think "Damn I need to sharpen a knife." I just ordered the following kit
    [IMG]

I also went for one of these to get rid of the power bar plug into a power bar plugged into a power.

Although I am little worried that I might need to keep one power bars as my desk is 4220 mm long.

Urgh why you do this to me. I just paid silly money for one because I can't stand the look of the cables in my case. My 'sell' to myself is that I can use it indefinitely. Yeeesh hope the wife doesn't see..
