I needed speakers/a speaker/anything to get sound out of the PC I am bringing to my mother's house to set up here. I didn't want anything big, or clunky, or loud because her house is a modern house and pees sound inside.

Cheap, cheerful and should go perfectly with my Mionix keys and wrist pad :)

I wish I could go back to not knowing it and re-experience the whole thing. Epic sci-fi read. :thumb:

My motherboard already comes with SupremeFX audio: Renowned audio performance with intuitive Sonic Studio III and Sonic Radar III, i don't even know if this soundcard will make a difference lol, using 5.1 Logitech THX speakers which sound pretty good imo.

I know quite a few people who would never touch anything a single resistor they deem unnecessary in a circuit, let alone RGB LED.

To answer your question... probably however much of a difference you want to hear. From a certain point onward (not saying you reached it with this purchase) changes are hard to really notice. Going from your average in-ears you got with a middle-of-the-pack smartphone to proper Sennheiser or Shure or Noble will be moving into completely new spheres of audio bliss. Moving between those latter brands and in the same price brackets will not feel that much of a step up. So I guess if your on-board audio was already very good you may not notice a night and day difference. Then again, pre-emptively fighting buyers' remorse is a thing.

Thanks for the honest response, after reading reviews it does seem like I've just bought a very expensive led light strip lol

As a general rule, the reviews come before the wallet is opened.

I've been tempted many times, but I just can't get my head around it being a cheap £50 tablet with a hollow plastic dock. Will see if the price drops a bit. Over £300 for it is too much IMO. Plus I'm having lots of fun with my DS2 and FO4 atm.
