all because i saw this video and want to try it out as camera to replace my go pro sessions which has a failing battery. if it works well im gona perma mount 2 on my motorcycle as front and rear cams

 

and theres a lad on avf selling these at a good price.

 

I also bought this as my beloved Z3 is constantly crashing, slows right down when the environment is hot, has a (spreading) blemish on the screen and the USB port's waterproof seal has come off, making it flap around loosely:



Last year's flagship model, the Xperia XZ Premium. wouldn't have bothered posting normally, but HOW MANY SYSTEM UPDATES DOES THE DAMN THING NEED?! Also, last chance to get a phone with a 3.5mm jack (yes that's important to me).

Like:

• Good camera with nice options - higher resolution than my P900 (oh, I also have a P900 now for the lulz).
• 4K screen (damn thing really is crystal clear and sharp, even if it is complete overkill).
• USB3 C port.
• 3.5mm jack.
• WAYYY cheaper than the XZ2 and probably better.
• Fingerprint scanner is really cool and can store multiple scans of the same finger or even different fingers. Handy as I like to use either my thumb or forefinger.
• The faux leather case I've got to put it in allows me to hold four cards instead of two and even has room for a few notes.

Dislike:

• Feck me, phones are complicated now. It's going to take me weeks to figure this thing out.
• The faux leather case means that it doesn't fit in the docks I bought for it. Going to have to return them and see if there's an alternative.
• The faux leather case also doesn't allow me to access the volume control - annoying as it also works as the camera zoom.

Well with what looks to be two bikes sold I decided to get this.



I need it for the new bike I am doing (it has some metal that needs removing) and I have wanted one for ages. Ever since my speaker box building days.

 

Belt sanders are awesome, after using the air line ones at work then buying an electric one for myself at home, I don't know how I ever managed without one. It'll do everything,tidy up welds, remove material (wood, metal, whatever), got a stuck nut, not problem, grind it away, stuck screw, grind the head off. Awesome bits of kit.

 

Yeah, I just bought a finger sander too, it's super cool and I cannot believe I've never owned one before.
