This evening disdainfully ejected my current celebrity-endorsed-but-a-piece-of-shutyourmouth saute pan into the nearest rubbish after it decided to once again hold on for dear life to dinner.

Ordered a Scanpan 28cm CTX Saute pan to replace.

I have a two saucepans and a dutch oven (hehe) from the classic line and they're truly excellent, so have high hopes.

    Seemingly typical Amazon pay-day order;

Battle Beast - Bringer of Pain
    Battle Beast - Unholy Savior
    Battle Beast - Battle Beast
    Battle Beast - Steel
Sugar Ray - Lemonade and Brownies
    Arch Enemy - War Eternal
The Dead Daisies - Burn it Down
    Transplants - Transplants
The Interrupters - Fight The Good Fight

    The Incredibles
    Unbreakable
    Split
    The Accountant

    2.5" to 3.5" adaptor

    And a couple of bits off Fleabay;
Wurth brake clean - 12 pack
    O-ring kit

    Edit:

    ATX-size connector crimping tool.
Used Crumpler backpack. Hoping the interior is decent. It's red, which is my thing. Hoping it wasn't owned by a smoker.
AAAA batteries. Did not know these were a thing.

A Mothercare Orb pushchair for £275.

Wife wanted the full priced (£450!) teal version from the shop, but I managed to convince her to let me shop around. Found a seller on Ebay with a black one that is still sealed in the box wanting £290 BIN. Tried to haggle down to £265, but we met in the middle. Gotta do a 140 mile round trip to collect it, but even with the fuel cost factored in I still saved myself a good chunk of change!

    Much win.

Ugh, pushchairs. The margins on them must be insane.
How a few bits of aluminium and plastic with some canvas stretched over them can reach nearly 4 figures in some cases I'll never know. Even the super expensive ones still feel flimsy somehow.

I think I paid £200 ish way back 16 years ago for a decent pushchair, last I heard a year ago it was still in service with someone.
You pay's your money and takes your chances.

    Technically it's still a pre-order, but reviews seem excellent so I don't think it's a gamble (especially at €18).
    Can't wait!

A friend mentioned a restaurant in Nottingham that is doing a pizza-based food challenge. I knew right then and there, I needed pizza. And I needed it fast.

Today, my lunch will consist of munching down on two large dominos pizzas until I feel ill.
Specifically A Ranch BBQ on an Italian base with added Jalapeños, and a Meateor with Tomato instead of BBQ sauce and chicken instead of cumberland sausage.

    Acceptable.

My record for pizza is 1 3/4 large Pizza Hut jobbies. They cocked up an order for a friend and I so brought out a large pizza for us whilst we waited, he had a couple of slices and his arrived, i carried on, finished that one, then had mine.

A bunch of guys that I worked with, and myself, used to hold the record at the Springwater restaurant in Calverton of 48 dishes for the table. There were 7 of us and they size the dishes according to the number of people eating, we had 4 rounds of starters and 8 of main courses. Can't really do that now as they have a time limit...

Pizza. That's what I'm making for dinner tonight! I suppose therefore, my latest purchases are directly related to ingredients therefor. Mmm.

Oh and some more charcoal on which to cook it.
