And, inspected by the cat. In this house the two cats can't be bothered but, the dog does a thorough check of everything new.

, to store it in while I'm not using it so it doesn't happen again.

The new sheet's bigger than my old one; the plan is to cut it down to size so I can properly clamp it on the table in use, which I can't do with my current undersized one. Fingers crossed I can actually get that to work!

A set of double strap BKL mounts for my scope, second hand for £40. Anybody who's owned them before knows exactly why I bought them. :)

time to retire my old corsair 550D, now that most GPU's come with fanless mode @ idle, quiet cases became pretty much pointless, at least for gaming, and you have to put up with crappy cooling performance too !

    and three of these.

i've lost interestin the whole pc building/gaming hobby for past couple of years, i'm not sure what happened but i'm feeling excited to be back in the game !

GS - I am pretty sure with the more modern Xbone controllers they are bluetooth mate. If it has a headphone socket on it it has BT, and you shouldn't need the wireless adapter. That is only for older pads with no BT.

I bought a celeron G1610 (Ivy) for £4 inc, and a stock cooler (new) for £4.60 inc.

I bought a semi broken board lately to test with, so with the 2gb DDR3 I found I am going to use that board and the CPU and cooler to test with no nothing expensive goes pop. I will then use it to turn the old PC into a NAS, so that was good going for less than nine quid.

i have to say, as much as i despise the xbox brand for shitting all over gaming as a whole they do make spectacular pads. this thing looks and feels incredible. Annoyingly howeever I have to wait until the weekend for the receiver to arrive :miffed:
