damn, that's a good college store. the bookstore at my school sells 5ft for $30.

Very nice, how is it?

 

It feels a bit slow really, but I'm hoping that the firmware upgrade will resolve the issue. The annoying thing is that sending one message to multiple contacts is slow as you have to go to the contacts each time rather then selecting multiple ones at once.

The text conversation is a nice idea, but it needs skinning, I need to google to see if there's any available for it.

 

What network did you get it on?
My upgrade is due, i might be tempted but my iphone is doing me proud.

 

On Vodafone, £35, 600 anytime/network mins, unlimited texts, unlimited interwibbles (500Mb fair use)

 

Not bad.

 

The guy in the store was extremely helpful to me when I was sorting it out, they have another option which is 700 minutes (any network anytime), 250 texts, unlimited internet, unlimited landline & vodafone calls, but I don't know too many people on Vodafone and the extra texts would be far more useful to me. Both plans are the same price.

 

Hmmm, voda always seem'd one of the more business/enterprise networks. I only know one person on that network. I wonder if their customer service is any good as o2's legendary service.

 

Vodafone's CS has gone down the pan these past couple of years.

My Dad was a business customer with them for about 15 years, and he's just switched because the customer service has been distinctly meh for 2 years running, and they've basically ignored him for about 2 months when he asked about upgrades etc.
It's a shame really, because it used to be that Voda's CS was worth the extra outlay, as it really was the best...

 

Messed up a stereo jack when desoldering so that's on my list now.
