    I know, but I don't smoke, I don't do drugs and I barely drink. I need something.

I mean, was going to start a massive collection of fans, but that's just bonkers - Nobody in their right mind would do that.

Hahaha maybe having a massive collection of fans wouldn't be so bad, but I'm - *ahem* - still buying more...:worried:

That's a sound idea. My cousin left his Dynaudio set up in his Golf and the magnets rusted and the coils seized. Mind you if I left a car that long I'd have taken it all out. Very expensive lesson that.

    So many things.

Mostly LED's and controllers that let me make my own Phillips Hue setup without buying the absurdly OTT Phillips stuff.

New TV. Our 12 year old Sony has finally given up:

43" Panasonic jobbie. Will give me a good chance to sort out a lot of the AV equipment associated with it, some we rarely use and some not at all (HD recorder and DVD writer...), plus I have a rather eclectic collection of speakers to work out and position.

A Samsung QA55Q60RAKXXA (Catchy name, I know), since my 10-year old Bravia 40" was messing around on the sound board (not sure what was wrong, even external speakers would only work on one channel) and randomly switching inputs.

Can't say I am unhappy with the purchase so far... It's big enough that I can play games on the couch, and still see who's sniping me in COD, although, in the room, it looks a bit on the big side.
Now all it needs is a sound bar to offset the less than stellar sound.

Our Bravia has taken to doing various degrees of this:

Flickers on and off with full screen version, part versions, perfect picture, ghosting overlays of it. Plus it is running VERY hot at the moment, hot electronics smell kinda hot. Still, 12 years ain't too bad, sure it isn't the 20+ that you used to get out of a 3 tonne CRT TV, but not bad. Kinda looking forward to setting the new one up...

Question that comes to mind is, where is he running to? Did he realise he left the gas one at home maybe?
