    GTOmega Sport Chair.

My last chair that I replaced with this was a cheap one of Facebook and I finally bit the bullet and bought another GTOmega chair.

I had a GT in the past but the frame snapped in the seat pan, and basically my brother welded it up and it was fine until a I used it as a ladder to get in the loft one day and nearly broke my neck and snapped the back in half (I'm FAT!!)

It's so good having a comfy chair again and one that will help to put my posture straight.

Love it! That's a fair old chunk of copper in there, what CPU is buried within?

Turns out I wasn't quite done with spending money today... Designed and ordered a new revision of my GBS-8200 SCART interface board:

Opted for the swanky black solder mask because... well... it just looks cooler than other solder mask colours :hip:

Pricing is still insane: £1.59 for 5x copies of the board (although there's another £10.57 in shipping & customs...).

Yeh, PCB's are insanely cheap now! Basically never get it in the UK unless you need it next day! I really like white ones too!

If you need it next day then you're going to pay through the nose no matter where you get it from! :hehe:

Yeah they're cheap, but I usually solder these types of connector as well as crimping. The crimping is mostly strain relief rather than electrical connection, so as long as it can do even a halfway decent job then they should be fine.

After much deliberation I've opted to go for the Alexa Studio, Should be a nice upgrade over built in monitor speakers for spotify or muffled MacBook speakers in clamshell mode.

Prepare yourself for a flurry of useless smart home doodads when I receive this...

Weekly shopping done (at Selgros), 240 Euros gone, food for a whole week plus some storable stuff (and maybe some 'oh, now that I'd love to try' stuff). Didn't meet more than five other shoppers. Doing your shipping once a week at 7am makes sense, I feel.

The £16 for express delivery of the waterblock adapter is the most annoying part...
