Laura is like a very basically programmed computer:

Utensils go in the utensil drawer.

There's no subroutine to analyse if there is space, if some of them haven't been used in the last five years, or if the drawer is bursting at the seams and really needs a sorting out.

Utensil? Whack it in the drawer, end. :hehe:

Then Laura and I very much share that viewpoint. If it's in the drawer in the first place then that means I bought it for a reason, and it will go in the drawer if you put it away properly instead of just lobbing it in there!

I've highlighted the flaw in that... as far as I can tell, logical tidying (or tidying at f*ing all for that matter) totally escapes my wife. Excuse is usually "i'll do it later" - like cr*p you will love, what you mean is you'll leave it for me to do, then complain when you cant find it and rely on me to tell you where it is/find it for you...
I mean, lets put a ladle in a drawer, logic dictates put the handle to the back for the drawer and the scoop around other utensils to minimise likelihood of a snag, but no lets put it in face up, on top of other utensils, with the scoop at the back of the draw so a snag is guaranteed...

    Sounds familiar.

I'd vacuum more if I could see the jeffin floor too, even that doesn't seem to be encouragement enough.

But yeah, i'm supposed to know in which random pile of her crap has the tiny scrap of paper with something really important scribbled on it.

I swapped them into the drawer that held the clingfilm and tinfoil etc. as it was larger, now we have plenty of space for the utensils.

I'm very clever, I know

Why two? Why women, for that matter?

Hmm. Good point. Is a harem always female? *Runs off to Google definitions*

    Gluten free fish chips.

One area where gluten free tastes better than non-gluten free.

I think no matter what it used to be, nowadays it's probably a mix of anything that is available.

Needs a loader for tennis balls

Meanwhile, I acquired new footwear, seeing as mine have been cracked since about April in the sole but I kept riding them.
One pair of semi silly clippy shoes, these you can still walk in without looking like Bambi on ice

That got me thinking and I managed to find a picture of the shoes I used during the years I was time trialling. Time Equipe, very stiff carbon soles and hopeless to walk in once fitted with Look plates, downright dangerous on smooth floors...

I don't use SPD-SL pedals or shoes. Much happier with my SPDs - I can walk about quite happily without looking like a penguin or Bambi on ice :D

    And the cleats last forever.
