You play drums as well eh? Are you in a band?

 

I have been in a bunch of bands, but at the minute I am just chilling and playing for fun. I really want to start a band but no one around here seems to play anything other than metal or emo , sorry "post-hardcore". I personally would prefer a punk style band, but with some less punk flavours thrown in, basically I would like to be in Bad Astronaut

Oh and I also have a bass guitar, but that doesn't get played much these days.

Yeah, the shell is a Mapex P380 and the beaters are from some eliminators. The DW rubber grips are on because I play with no shoes and I find that it gives me more grip and control, the riser in the middle is almost like a toe stop except that its not. I find toe stops uncomfortable but that riser gives me something to push against

I've heard good things about the DW5000 but I'd head down to the local drum shop and at least try them before buying

 

i got me an advent 4211 (MSI Wind clone) netbook form pc world & voided the warranty within 48hrs upgrading the ram, hdd & wirless card - oh and i've just ordered the cisco/linksys wrt610n router for hi-def streming ;-)

What I've been calling a 'Fibson' for the time being. Gibson styled body, Fender neck. Black and white paint job, (white to black gradient, from the pickups out). Clear pickup shrouds, pickguard etc, lit with the LED's.

I pondered some lighting for the inlays in the neck, but didn't fancy trying to fit a second battery box and the actual doing of the cabling for the neck would be hard-as :B
