Adding to this, decided to change case and PSU as well. Gone for:

    Be Quiet! Dark Base 700
    1000w Antec Signature Platinum

Hoping to get a 3070/Ti or 3080/Ti later at some point when they're not stupid money, hence the overkill PSU.

A couple of 16TB drives, figure I may as well give this Chia thing a try. And if it all goes down the pan? I've still got lots of storage...

I’ve been looking at similarly priced mics on Amazon, I have a fairy basic plantronics headset I use for teams calls. It works fine, but since nobody is home I don’t really need to be wearing one and it’s not the most comfortable. Either that or I’m generally having to run to get it because I have alternative headphones for music on when someone calls me out the blue.

Found a ‘yotto’ mic that looks good, has a few good YouTube reviews. Does yours have any generic branding?

Can't tell if this is sarcasm or not since that doesn't sound that expensive to me haha.

Just put together my latest purchase, Primal Strength Monster Squat Stands. Definitely overkill but felt they were a decent price 2nd hand not a million miles out of my way so went for it. Considering them an investment in me/my health!

Set of these for the old office chair:

Complete revelation, the chair moves... And moves smoothly. These were only a cheap (£17) set off Amazon, but so far awesome.

Treated myself to a new K70 RGM MK.2, with Cherry Reds. My old K60 is getting a bit long in the tooth and the double kep presses on a few of the keys are making programming a challenge! (plus I'm sure it counts as a biohazzard by now!) Come to me you glorious glows!

Renewed my Sky "Superfast" broadband for another 18 months, saving £5/month on their "out of contract" price.

No branding at all unfortunately. The box it came in just states "Studio Microphone" on it.

In terms of sound quality I went from:

(Steelseries Arctis 7 Built in mic)

    to:

    (New mic)

(I start talking at the 11 second mark)

The mic I bought was this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08N4BM8B8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

When I bought it there was a 20% off voucher so for the price it was a no brainer even if just the boom arm / clamp was useful.

    Very much sarcasm. :D

OK cool. Not one of my favourites I have to admit, but certainly decent, especially for the price of them. The blade takes a frightening edge, carbon steel and all that, done a couple of sharpening jobs on them. My current UK friendly favourite is probably my scandi-grind Enzo PK70, although I do have to be careful, it has a habit of nipping me every now and then.

Something about waiting for a bus for ages and then two come...

    Another pair of B&W 805S's

I was going to continue to use my 1NTs for two surround channels, and the new 805s I picked up last week as the other two surround channels - since they're admittedly a bit extravagant for surround channels anyway so wasn't necessarily going to upgrade the 1NTs I already had just for the sake of matching.

But spied these, not too far away, and remarkably priced.

    So... extravagant it is.
