I like that you got the "official" one, but it does seem odd official being the second word in the name of your plastic pooper.

    * plastic pooper, 'cos all my early attempts at 3d prints, failed to look like a boaty.

That which is referred to as "superfast broadband," should be called "moderately brisk broadband."

It usually averages out @ 50 megadodads, which is plenty for the 2 of us, never had a problem gaming, streaming or working from home.
Airband have been seen sniffing around locally, but I reckon full fat FTTP is going to be many many many years away, not that I reckon we need it.

From the 7th of April to the 17th of June, and it's finally done: completion went through today, and we pick up the keys later this afternoon.

Now I need to get utilities, council tax, and all that sorted, get the outbuilding ready for office use, and we can move in - then comes the fun(!) of getting my old place on the market and flogging it!

Nope. Decided to make things easier on ourselves by buying the new one first, which is tight monetarily-speaking but just about do-able. The outbuilding needs (well, the building survey recommended) a fresh roof on top and it'll need security grilles fitting if I'm using it as an office¹, so it would have been a nightmare doing it all at once.

Aside from having to pay two lots of bills for a bit, the only real headache is that I have to pay the higher rate of Stamp Duty on my "second property" - but I can claim that back when I sell the old one.

1: Did you know that even the best home insurance only covers theft from outbuildings up to a certain limit? £5,000, in the case of the one I just signed up to. Eef!

Blue and red themed build, white RAM.

Bummer. Thought about buying RGB ram coolers but they are £15 each. And I have 8 sticks. I know right, cry me a river. Any way, decided to do some digging and found these for a tenner each.

Will de-sticker the fans and have already changed one from red to blue. Bonus is I can whack them on my Aqua Aero Power Adjust 3 (mouthful) and run them down to about 2 volts. Which will help the VRM.

Bit of a spendy day at the local "Big & Tall" shop (I'm the one that doesn't do well at basketball), but I'm now freshly suited & booted for my friend's anniversary do next weekend.

    Another one of these

I bought one for the cinema but whilst the cinema is still in construction was using it in the lounge, and inevitably I’ve become used to having it in the lounge too and will shortly need one in the cinema.

If there's a "Great Room", does that mean there's a "Crap Room" too ?
