I dunno why people spend so much on Oakleys, they're way overpriced for what they are.

Some of them are insanely expensive for what they are tbh, others are pretty good value.

I got myself a pair of Wires with polarized lenses to go skiing with, and they've been great - the lense quality and the sturdiness of the frames is about the best around for similar money (that I've found at least).

Latest purchase: Machinehead's classic album "Burn My Eyes" to replace a copy that died. £5.25 on Amazon marketplace. :D

I've had a few pairs of Oakleys, and 3 of them have broken, under not too heavy use. They were the plasticky types though.

    Raybans are where it's at.

Personally, I'm a huge fan of the Square wire series with the Ice Iridium lenses. I've yet to get a pair, but paying £170 for 'em wouldn't be an issue for me - They're damn sexy as far as I'm concerned. Probably would get told never to wear them again if I had a girlfriend, but hey, only live once :D

I love oakleys they are so comfy and cut out so much light compared to other Wrap around brands.

this will be my 6th pair of prescription Oakleys, my all around the £500 mark each :) but worth every penny.

Fall update lets you put the games on your HDD so you don't have the DVD drive spinning up during play

Can't you just take it to bits and stick a bigger drive in there? A la PS3?

Nope, Microsoft have a stupid principle which goes along the lines of:

We want Everyone to buy our products, so we'll make it so everyone can use it (i.e. Live Vision works on my PS3 easy), but we only want specific peripherals to work on our console.

It's a custom firmware on the drives, you can get a 120GB drive for £32 IIRC and reflash it.

Gay, although a reflash isn't too bad I suppose. :)

Got a Sony Ericsson C902 on virgin mobile £18 contract, 200 mins and 500 texts. Rang them up and as we are on VM for TV/BB/phone I didn't pay for the mobile. Wahey!

Fender CD60 acoustic, I had a go on one that had been properly set up ie the neck didn't look like you could fire a bolt with it, and the bridge had been filed down to get better action at a mates and fell in love, Sounds better than my older Fender (I think DG 100) which cost nearly twice the price 2 years ago, that had seen better days after many parties and sing-alongs.

A small tiki style fully edible hut for my two Gerbils.

    2 Lovely pillows from M&S, 2 for £5 or £3 each.

A qwik tune guitar professor, basically a tuner/pitch pipe/chord book all in one.

Some autobahn wheels for my skateboard.

    That's all for now.
