    Same, but '65.
I even went to the local theatre, when I discovered it would be doing a stage version of the show in 1980.

OnTopic:- A bunch of 3D models for my resin printer, of DC/Marvel/Lucasfilm characters.

New monitor. Had my 24" Philips for 11 years, and the extra brightness on this will help with the sun streaming into the new office. It'll be nice to be able to have two browser windows open side-by-side without having to zoom out, too!

That's how I started. Now I own 350+ first editions and about the same in "reading books".

A dinky three blade stove fan. There was one at the place we stayed in in the Highlands and they do push the heat about.

Our stove is in an alcove and sure enough when I popped my hand towards the back the air was nice and toasty.

Hopefully it'll move the heat a bit and maybe reduce log burnage.

Give that a try out tonight.

Edit: Update, that little fan works a treat :thumb:

    Not very exciting one, this:

DisplayPort cable. Turns out you can only FreeSync-on-Nvidia via DisplayPort... and the monitor only comes with an HDMI cable.

Still, the monitor's working at least - once I realised I'd plugged it into the capture card instead of the graphics card, anyway.

    Three 980 m.2 1TB's
    Two 870 SATA 1TB's
    One 870 SATA 250gb

Gaming PC is getting a storage refresh, the mini desktop is getting a better quality SATA drive and one of the gaming PC cast-offs, and the 1TB's are spares for the server.

Since I can't see the write reports when they're in a RAID array, it makes sense to me to just have a couple of identical replacements for when they invariably die.

I also grabbed an Icybox nvme USB-C caddy, which will be used to clone the 2230 for the Steamdeck, and then once that's done, get one of the spare 1TB's out of the desktop and.. Sit in the drawer with the pile of other m.2's I have shag all use for.

Must be the time of year but I read that followed by 'and a partridge in a pear tree'.

Head, it's November, get a grip.

I picked up a ton of stuff today. I'll probably not get it all...

20'×100' of roofing plastic to repair our roofs
    Vapor barrier tape
    Redragon aatrox mouse
LOL Logitech headset with USB DAC and Blue technology microphone
    Internal usb header
    1gb flash drive for DUET/REFIND
    20lbs of newspaper cat litter
Foaming cat pee spray (And a vet visit to take care of Mr. Man's UTI)
A MacBook USB hub for Gwyn's laptop
And a hell of a run at the thrift store.

Gonna be honest, I did a double-take there - that's not a name you often see outside of Wales!

I'm curious, is the pronunciation the same? In Wales you'd pronounce it as "Gwinn".

My apologies if I'm being ignorant or nosy...

Gwynevere, pronounced the same as Arthur's wayward wife. We both are big on proper pronunciation (we're both English nerds) (weird that we're not married and I'm not her dad) so yes, "Gwinn" is the pronunciation they use.

I find it intriguing that a name I think of as being incredibly local makes it so far around the world - thank you!

Finally going above the 60Hz monitor range I've always been using. Picked up a Samsung CRG9, I liked the Odyssey G9 except for the really tight radius so went for a less intense 1800mm radius, and 50 dollars less.
