    Lets see...

For the main rig, Prime for CS:GO, 32gb Corsair 3600mhz cas 16 2x16gb ddr4, NZXT 850w 80plus gold fully modular with stealth mode button, Corsair ironclaw rgb wireless (cause massive hands/tallness and I loved the wired one but having a wire was pissing me off)

A 2nd hand SFF mitx build off a mate to use with the tv, which consists of a MSI b450i gaming plus ac/3500x/16gb ram/500gb samsung m.2/rx580 8gb/450w fractal sat in a sexy old school Silverstone SG-13, 2 BeQuiet 140mm Pure Wings 2's for my main case to replace the louder stock rgb ones (these are stupid quiet and all i can hear is the gpu which is the gtx off spanky until I buy a rx 6700xt end of the month....

Oh and a new meaty 2.3" front tyre/brake cables/lights/tubes/a super light pump for my bmx that I still ride/jump/do tricks on despite being 6ft8 and not a teenager :naughty: and yes I look hilarious on it and scare people :hehe:

Cheers mate, ah that's awesome, I'm loving playing with it tbh, it lives next to my tv, running linux mint for cs:go and anything else non game related then win10 for games, the old rx580 8gb can still pack quite a punch in 1080p it would seem! LOVE the case though, reminds me of 1 of those old school conference call desk speakers? Did you ever think that?

Haha yeah man, I was like 6ft at 8 and 6ft2 at 10 iirc... and 6ft8 at 13-14!

Well tbf if you think about it it's your eyes playing tricks as my frame's top tube is 21" and you can get 21.5" and that's the same or longer than most big mtb frames, it's the rear end that's shorter (as better for manuals/tricks/hucking) and it's the wheels that are 6 or 9" smaller than mtb wheels...

I also run these big boi high rise/sweep/width bmx bars so my posture is actually better than on a mtb bending over the frame/bars as well...

I've genuinely NEVER had a bad back/knees from a bmx in the 21 years I've been riding/doing tricks on them, unlike the many mtb's I've had... I also never sit down on it as it's a super light bike so the seat is tiny/hard and basically just there to stop you smashing your coxis and I like it low for the style I go for and tricks I pull... I also always am kaining it or cruising so I'd never 'need' to sit down anyway...

I did consider getting an 'adult' bmx with 22, 24 or 26" wheels but they're heavier and in general harder to do tricks on and I think ironically that would actually make me look more stupid on it as it'd still be a weird size/be making it look like a normal bmx wasn't big enough for me when it is? as everyone knows a bmx looks small compared to a mtb whoever is riding it, if that makes sense? So cause I have a frame with the right length/dimensions for my height/riding style it just works.

I also have size 15 feet and run 170mm cranks (not 160mm like people would think I'd run being tall) and still can't even catch my foot in the front or back wheels or hit the front forks peg if i run pegs (the rear I can but that's cause I chose a shorter rear end for manuals and dont run pegs so doesn't matter but my last frame i ran pegs all round and was fine)

The nostalgia of kaining about and hucking it up and off things and gapping stuff/doing tricks and just in general flowing about on it with my fackin loud freewheel noise will never get old, I'll 110% ride this/upgrade/keep it till I physically can't even ride it slowly. Then it'll just be an art piece in the house where it currently lives anyway cause it looks sick chilling in the room haha and is worth a ridiculous amount of money!

Yeah, but how else do you replicate that scene from Matrix Reloaded?

You must be mistaken. There is only one Matrix film. :winking:

I tried jumping the "big jumps " down the local forest on the red route. You'd think at my age id know better but clearly not. 10 minutes on the floor 2 blokes come past to physically pick me up and remind me that "im not 15 anymore" .... like thanks!! Top of my left leg was numb for at least 3 months.

Indeed there is only one complete film, but there a couple of additional volumes of still-awesome set-pieces after it.

OK so I finally figured out a great way to get better sleep in my new bed. Get the F away from the window, which spills light and wakes me up (I sleep on my left, end of). That was the blessing of this bed. It's a double ender, and you can get head at each end. It also makes the seagulls non audible.

So, the only problem now is the feather pillow. By 6am it encases my head and I have to get up, shake it, and then go back to sleep. So £70 for a pillow natch.

Still, it was better than the £140 it costs on Amazon. It comes with foam cubes, and you can add/remove in the centre for more firmness etc.

    I also did this.

Last Tues mum had her broadband switched to Now Broadband. Long story short they effed it up, crossed her streams, brought back the dead and took over a week to fix it. Whilst she simultaneously drove me crackers running around the house reconnecting her whore devices every time the net took a crap. How we both got out of it alive is a mystery. Any way, Three found it agreeable to charge me, wait for it, NINE POUNDS AND 40 PENCE for two hours of mobile data. Just literally reading emails and browsing this place and Facebook.

So they can F off now.

I love these things. It's so easy to wash both the inner and outer cover as well, without ruining the padding. I mean... you literally just take out the padding and chuck the cover(s) in the wash. All the other pillows I've had over the years, even the ones explicitly marked "machine washable", just aren't the same after they've been washed: lumpy, misshapen, thin, etc.

Oh dope, so at least I know it was worth buying. It seems impossible to like, get a pillow that is the correct thickness, so I love the idea of DIY.

I should add. It's a 6950XT. I saw Amazon had them for the same price as every one else, so I got it there. Mostly because I know if it clacks it they will take it back without the Spanish inquisition.

It is to replace my ailing 2080Ti, which although *would* be fine it is not. What I mean is, the game I want to play at 4k (Dead Island 2) can not be played at 4k because it only has FSR and FSR doesn't work properly in the game on my 2080Ti. The work bench goes laggy and crashes. Meaning I had to drop it to 1400p, which is not ideal for a 75" TV. Now I know, you are probably thinking "But that is AMD's fault, why would you reward them?". Well firstly because Nvidia have done far worse. So I still feel like it is the lesser of two evils. However, I got it mostly because it's bloody fast. And for £619 it pees on anything else.

Also, due to this stuff about AMD and FSR it dawned on me that Starfield was going to be the same. So yeah, AMD got. I mean like I said, I do feel dirty, just not AS dirty.
