Yes, I know the 11 will be along this year, but I can upgrade my phone every 11 months so I shall swap to that in the new year. This came with a couple of good extras - puds 2 pro and a magnetic charger.

Strictly speaking bought these last year, but after many months of waiting for my Strix Halo Device to arrive, two drop at once, fortuitous to have got in early before all the price rises, not that I went mad on spec, nice for them to arrive, when you get spendy on things like Kickstarter and Indidgogo there is always the concern you are just putting your dough in a black hole.

    14" 2.8K OLEDs tablet
    Ryzen Ai 395 (Zen 5 16/32)
    8060S iGPU
48Gb, a nice level allowing bigger titles the opportunity to flex, 32Gb can be marginal for higher end gaming, things like HZDFW @ 4K can consume 32Gb+ (combined GPU and system of course it's an APU)

Additional Frost Bay water cooling for when you want to dock and pump 120w through the thing without Max fans.

Quite a few bugs in the control software, so it hasn't been plain sailing but when its working, lovely, all the machine most could need. The fact you can open up the RAM to the GPU means most things are fair game, none of this 8Gb crap, I probably should have got 64 or 128Gb when it was affordable.

And to pair with it, its handheld sibling

For this I kept it entry level
8" 1920x1200 IPS (boo no OLEDs but screen is fine)
    Ryzen Ai 385 (Zen 5 8/16)
    8050S iGPU
32Gb, wanted more than 32 but OXP did not see the point in offering more RAM configs with this chip which is a shame as it is much better balance for a gaming handheld, too much CPU in the 395 IMO

Now to decide if two of much the same thing makes sense or if one should go. :D

The important difference between the two is that if a Kickstarter doesn't make its goal, they don't take your money.

Though there's no guarantee that a campaign which makes its goal will ship. I've had a few low-value items fail to deliver over the years - books, games - and most recently got hit for about £350 for a handheld that I knew was a scam and meant to cancel my pledge for but got distracted and didn't. They're still updating the campaign irregularly, but not responding to backers and I don't think we'll ever see any hardware - especially as the Raspberry Pi inside it keeps going up in price so unless they bought the stock they need already they're stuffed.

Got myself a bunch of Ugreen stuff on the way for when I'm traveling,

    Power bank new cables ect.

Just want a good controller for my phone the one I have now doesn't hold the phone as it's my old ROG kunai 3. Debating if I grab a controller or display.

If anyone has a recommendation for a controller Id be greatful. Atm I might grab the official red magic one to match my phone. But it seams allot for a controller.

Also grabbed some Gravstar headphones and the cute robot charger

    iPhone 16 Pro Max 256GB

For those who know me well, you’ll understand that I hate buying phones. They’re overpriced, faddy pieces of shite, and I hate the idea of paying for one on a monthly basis. But my iPhone 13 has unfortunately given up the ghost, and going from 16% to 79% charge in seven hours isn’t normal. The battery is absolutely dead as a doornail.

Unfortunately, I’m now so deep into the Apple ecosystem that I’m scared to come back out, and quite frankly I’m not paying for an iPhone 17—finance or otherwise. I picked this bad boy up on a refurbished deal, which means I’m paying comparable eBay prices. I actually like it. I’ve been hammering away at it for a while now and the battery hasn’t blinked.

I've not used them yet got them as my Rog headphones I got free are dying, and my B&O h9s need new covers, the plan is to have them 90% for my laptop, but I'll report back when I use them but I 80% use them for podcasts 15% audio books it's extremely rare I'd listen to music. And had on heart got them for the rule of cool over how good they are

I somewhat unintentially bought a 3090 off ebay. I didn't actually expect my bid to win...

Flights and hotel for Embedded World in Nuremberg. Business class, but not really: it's Lufthansa's "Business Saver," which is basically just a city-hopper with pretensions. Also travel insurance, 'cos obviously.

I still don't wanna go. *And* the venue hotel sold out in the time it took 'em to make their minds up about me going, so now I'm at the airport Movenpick and will be starting and ending each day with two U-Bahn rides and a 20-minute walk instead of just tipping out of the hotel and strolling five minutes up the road...

Yeah, I got hit for ~£400 when a Kickstarter I backed just cut and ran, after smashing the funding goal.

    It could be worse.

You could still be waiting for Star Citizen to release after backing it 13 years ago.

    :hehe:
