Image quality is good, text a hit and miss but serviceable, panel gets purple with sunlight and there's some other drawbacks here and there but overall I'm pleased with it. I went for a ultrawide which is a first for me and so far I'm digging it.

 

A nice NVME SSD but amazon sent me a BIC razer instead..........Hmmm, it's not even a good one for £500

 

Bloody hell. Hope they refund you straight away.

Ha, I clicked the link on the email out of curiosity, expecting ~£250, when I saw the price I started swithering but I'm not there yet.

 

Some soft cloths for my OLED screen after I managed to scratch it using a 'regular' microfiber cloth. I'm pointing this out for anyone who is fixing to buy an OLED, I had no idea they were that sensitive and should have researched more. You live and learn.

 

Unusual, normally they are glass and super reflective you wouldn't expect to scratch it.

 

For sure, I took a close look and could see no contamination, but I guess there could have been something other than dust on the screen that I didn't notice.

 

It'll be my first Spyderco, never been a fan of the blade shape and the regular scales feel cheap to me, but who can so no to a nice bit of carbon fibre.

I was walking about the ExCel last week at AWS Summit and I was a sweaty mess pretty much all day and it wasn't even that hot. I'm a heavy lad and was carry around a backpack all day, but still was in need of cool air. I also get occasion migraines and the cold plate should be a big help for that.

 

They're good knives, the only downside of the UKPK is that the clip is a touch weak and it snags on things (seatbelts especially) so expect it to get pulled out of your pocket at some point.
