I saw that mod and was about to do the same thing, but then we had some corporate donation pallet s from Amazon delivered to the store, which had a bunch of the Govee air purifiers in them. So I bought a couple for less than the price of the replacement filters. App controlled so I can switch it off remotely after my print should have completed.

Just put a deposit down on this wee beastie:

JCW in Rebel Green. A little bit of an upgrade from our Cooper S. 3 door hatch again as we generally have no need for rear seat use and the larger doors coupled with the steep screen angle means that despite it being a Mini, it is a car that my wife can get in and out of (limited mobility - fibromyalgia - and other stuff). It has the "premium plus" package on it which means that it is about as loaded as you can get, I think it is just missing the heated front screen and that is about it.

Should be ready for us in about a week as it needs to be brought over to Nottingham, get the paint coating done and the tracker fitted and we can go and pick it up.

This will be our 6th Mini now, all from Sytner Nottingham, and sure a main dealer might not be the cheapest place out there, they do look after us pretty well, always have done.

    Nice Green that

I too went car shopping, daughter passed her test and so the vehicle we shared for almost 2yrs, an Up! GTi is now completely hers, both good and bad, great she is driving, no more dads taxi, bad as I 'm paying her insurance ( 1.1k for a 17yr old, not actually as bad I thought) I said I would having up specced her car purchase from a 60bhp Citigo to an Up Gti as I had crashed my Abarth Punto and needed wheels, this was around the same time she was looking for her learner car to use in under 17s car club, I didn't want to drive something so slow :D , so it's also bad as I now need to buy a car and there's nothing out there I want to buy, or can convince myself to drop silly amounts of coin on, so ended up with cheap EV to pootle around in, leased so that I can hand it back when I decide on what I really want, 5k for 2yrs in an Abarth 600e seemed like a reasonable place to be, cheap and cheerful, never done a lease before but I'm sure I'd lose more in depreciation on anything else I might have bought.

That said the Up GTi is worth the more than I paid for it 2yrs ago, go figure, not used to that as a serial Italian car buyer :D I'm sure its value will drop when my daughter has hit all of Bristols kerbs and potholes :D

This has piss poor range, a jiggly ride and needs strong arns to keep it in a straight line, missus hates it :D but it was my sort of fun, in recession white because I'm a tight arse, unfortunately gotta wait for it to be built so will have to juggle cars for a bit longer.

Well after 7 months of waiting my custom Atherton is finally mine. Picked it up a week ago.

    Went slightly over budget......

Full wired XTR. Apart from the crank and chain ring which is Hope.

Not interested in putting any batteries on the bike unless it's for lights.

Now be honest, you were buying an Atherton, was there ever actually a budget?

I even approve of the Ergon grips as they are what I use, G something team?

Never messed with Proven wheels, I probably would have gone Hope Pro5 built with a DT Swiss rim

I totally agree with the battery statement too.

Yeah GDH team Ergons. Very sticky and soft.

If hope made Carbon enduro spec wheels I would have too. But I wanted carbon. They are 1800g (mullet) for the pair and are some of the strongest carbon wheels on the market.

I was worried such strong carbon wheels would be too stiff and "pinggy" but they feel great. Might help I'm running radial tyres front and back

Had my eye on this collection for a while, the dutch one went out of stock and others started to get down to single digits remaining in stock, so went digging and bought the lot.

    See life ruining thread...

Dunno why a washing machine has to have AI (I won't be using it), but Samsung build quality is awesome and I need a decent load capacity.. Scheduled for delivery Monday.

Even though I've paid a few extra quid for installation, disposal etc, the garage (where I keep my tumble dryer and washing machine) could do with a clean, so I may as well get the old one ready for collection.

To send you notifications when it is done, our drier does this, quite handy as with sensors time varies on load and often they can finish quite quickly, so it lets you know so you can get the next one on. I mean it is unnecessary but handy when you machine is not anywhere you can see or hear.

Mine does similar... via Bluetooth. Which only works when you're in the house... where you can hear it beep when it's finished.

I have never bothered to link it to my phone.
